Were those Micromasters? I think I bought the Decepticon ones.

But FYI I was in total gay man love with Galvatron and Cyclonus and Scourge back in the day.

Did you...insert them?

Galvatron, Cyclonus & Scourge from the movie = PURE WIN

Galvatron, Cyclonus & Scourge from the TV cartoon = MASSIVE FAILURE

I still haven't had a chance to pick up a G1 Cyclonus & Scourge toys, but I wants them BAD.

Indeed they were.

The Decepticons were

Tailwind - Blue/gray A-10

Nightflight - Gray/blue F-14

Storm Cloud - Purple/black Dassault Rafale

Whisper - Black/purple "MiG-31 Firefox"-ish Stealth Fighter

Admit it, you squealed with delight when you got Cybertron-mode Prime.

Didn't you?

I know I did.

22 years late for what, now?

And I thought you wanted a Stunticons Animated set? What kind of fanboy squeal would you make then?

*was disappointed with EVERY TF from 1986 until BW*

Really? On the whole I liked most Transformers that came out from 1986-1995. Some particular favourites include:

+ Ultra Magnus

+ Hot Rod (I agree that Rodimus sucked, but I liked Hot Rod)

+ The Throttlebots (they were just so fun)

+ Sixshot

+ Powermaster Optimus Prime (probably helped that I got him for free :P)

+ Browning - in some ways it's a nicer toy than Megatron

+ Classic Pretender Bumblebee

+ Micromasters! (I like 'em all!)

+ Multi Force

+ Breast Force <--best G1 gestalt toy ever!

+ Thunderclash - weird pastel colours aside, it's a fun toy!

+ G2 Sideswipe

+ Laser Optimus Prime <--best Optimus Prime toy made in the 20th Century

+ Cyberjets

+ Gobots (the success of the Spychangers proves how awesome these figures are :))

Really?

Yep. Once they started showing up as "futuristic" vehicles I started to loose interest. Didn't find it again until Beast Wars. And even then, that wasn't until I noticed the word "Transformers" under "Beast Wars."

I'll be honest though, I wasn't really paying much attention.

I know, I know, I missed out on some great figures.
