Damn, still no luck at finding Oil Slick & Lockdown @ local stores. I'm afraid once I ordered 'em via eBay, then stores here will start stock 'emselves up with those two... :redface

So I got Voyager Bulkhead.

 

His vehicle mode - AWESOME!!!

 

His transformation - FUN!!!

 

His bot mode - SWEET!!!

 

His bulk = tiny :argh

 

Seriously, I've never been so unsure of a figure before. I mean everything about him just screams "YOU LOVE THIS TOY!!" to me, but then I put him on the shelf next to Bumblebee, and Bumblebee looks down at him.

 

*sigh* Guess its the Leader class for this avowed non-scale phag.

So far, I have Starscream, Prowl, and Bumblebee. THEY ARE ALL COMPLETE AND TOTAL :win :win :win !!! I plan on getting Lockdown, Ratchet, and since so many people recommend it, maybe Blackarachnia (since they're the only ones I've seen in the store so far) and I'm going to get the 2-pack, but only for the DVD and the show-accurate Prime's Axe. I'll probably sell the figures on eBay, unless i like them too much.

 

as for others, I plan on getting Grimlock, the other Dinobots, Ldr bulkhead, Ldr Megs, Voyager Prime, Wreck-Gar (I dare to be stoopid!) Blurr, Soundwave, Jazz, Oilslick, Blitzwing, Skywarp, Sidecar Prowl, Ldr Lugnut (I hope they make one), and Maybe Sentinel Prime. In other words, almost all of them. I'm also gunna need 2 Ldr bulkheadz, so i can give him two hands.

Yea. I almost got him, but when i compared him to BB in package, I hesitated. Ldr Bulkhead looks more fun anyway. Bulkheads should always look down to Bulmblebees. Theres a rule.

Bulkhead looks great, but just too dang small.

 

... I hope they have a shrink ray episode where Bulkhead becomes the smallest Autobot for an episode.

Wait... is it "Lugnut" or "Lugnutz"? Please tell me it's the former.

 

It's Lugnut. I think I may know why. Cybertron Lugnutz was a laid back motorcycle kind of Decepticon, then in :animated they made a big Decepticon who worshiped Megatron. That didn't seem like Lugnutz. So they ran out of names for him and toke a z out of Lugnutz, making Lugnut. Which I think is a better name.

I picked up Lugnut today, I'd had my eye on him for a while, and since he was the only one left at the store I picked him up. Overall I love him. He's missing a few joints I would have liked, namely waist and head swivels, but otherwise he's practically perfect except for some pretty shotty light piping and the obvious size thing. And believe me, IT IS OBVIOUS. Blackarachnia is taller than Lugnut. Think about it.

 

I do have a theory though. I believe in my heart of hearts that he is in fact a deluxe figure, and the only reason he's considered a voyager is that his wingspan made it impossible top fit him onto a deluxe card. If that's not the case, then I believe he was a voyager but was designed to fit inside the pre-established voyager packaging, thus the shrinkage. I'm positive streamlined packaging is the key to the size mystery.

 

Either way though, he's all kinds of win. I won't feel ripped off buying him if a leader is released, but I do feel ripped off at the moment, cause he ain't voyager material.
