  1. Hey all -- I'm considering getting into the ol' kitbash thing and I was looking for some suggestions paint-wise. I want to do this right, so I'd like your feedback. Is primer recommended / necessary? What paints (if any) adhere to plastic well without staying tacky? And finally, does anyone know the process by which factory paint is applied to TFs, and what kind of paint it is? Thanks y'all!

Ok I really liked the Universe Depthcharge. I hated the green/teal though, along with the white eyes. So I took a que from the Dreamwave art and repainted him a gunmetal color. I also repainted his eyes blue, standard 'Bot color. Here are the Results! Lemme know whatcha think.

  7. After talking with my buddy Devastator2000 I finally customized my Armada seekers. I was not going to do it, but Devastator convinced me my idea was worth trying. This took me 5 minutes and makes them look very Generation-oneish. Anyone can do this, and since we will not be getting seekers from the Alternator line, this is the next best thing. They are the same size and look cool posed next to the alternators. The shoulder mounted launchers just pop off. I then drilled a minicon sized hole in the launchers and behold: Arm cannons. ( I used a 3/16 drill bit.)These holes are small enough that when in jet mode you don’t notice them, and you can still transform the seeker, …
