Upgrades

Well, damn this one is taking a long time. Probably because I've lost my main brush and have had to use my fine fine fine detail brush. Fairly decent results, I think. Originally I was going to follow closely with Snowman's digipaint of him, with the quasi-constructicon paint job. But then I thought, and thought.....and I've decided that it's a military vehicle. And being an ex member of a military, it hit me that a LOT of military vehicles have that olive green styling. I also put in some gunmetal and gold. The other portions of Landmine are still being worked on - should be done in the next 2-3 days.

At work today, I found two TFU King Atlas figures - I bought both of them, because he's just so damn incredibly G1ish. A brick, but a DAMN COOL looking brick! Bought one to keep normal, bought one to paint. After 4+ hours of work, I am proud to debut to the world........GOLDWARP! (I may change that name........any better ideas?) Gold = Erm, the gold on him. (Gotta work on the intakes, make them a little neater.) Warp = An homage to G1 Skywarp, my favorite of the seekers, through the large amount of black and purple, with a smidge of silver thrown in. I do not have the robot portion completed as of yet - that's for tomorrow, considering I'm sick as hell…

enh i'm kinda regretting putting the Hoist head on him now as it looks kinda ugly but the concept still stands smokescreen/hoist/grapple in energon form.

Heres a digi repaint I've done of Supercon prime- the idea came to me in a dream. Honesty. Eventually when the battle in a box Ultra Magnus is released, I'm going to dye the torso, head and fists the correct colors, and use the legs from a Supercon Prime. Thing is he needs a name/character. In the daydream I had about him he was armed with Strongarm's Energon axe, so that'll be his weapon. Any ideas on a name? The only thing I do know if that he is *not* a Prime or Convoy- he's just got the convoy face... he might even end up witha different head entirely. lemme know what you think! 'pike

Well, here it is... my version of sunstorm with energon starscream. I had a pic of the eHobby one up while paitning, so I tried to go mostly be that. I'ld also be willing to do one for people for a decent charge. enjoy!

I was surfing around lookin' on e-bay, and found a swoop up for auction and I found that I am still annoyed by things such as his chest being red when his toon incarnation had a blue chest. It is for this reason I have decided to get all 5 dinobots and repaint them into their cartoon selves. I have a gen2 slag at home I can use, and I figure I can get gen2 Grimlock and Snarls for cheaper than G1 versions, but so far I am having trouble finding cheap Sludges and Swoops. About the best I've found so far is $50 for Sludge and $95 for Swoop, plus shipping and handling. So I have a few questions: 1)Anybody know where I can find a cheaper Sludge and Swoop? 2)I haven…

I've seen pics from Cybercon Expo of the custom Energon weapons sold such as different coloured energon stars and weapons and megatron's sword with a hilt. Does anyone know who made these as I would love to buy a tonne of them? Thanks!!
