I know I know... this is just way to obvious and I bet several people have allready done it... but I haven't seen it done so I gave it a shot. This is my attempt at doing an Energon version of Hotspot using Inferno. As usual from me, this is a digital repaint using an image from Remy's collections. Images of the original Hotspot (found on www.unicron.com) were also used as a guide. I really think I'm starting to get better at this whol digi-paint thing. I'm starting to use the polygon lasso tool more and use it effectivly. Please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is allwasy appreciated.

Finally, I got it near complete... about 95%... I still have the windows to paint (dreading that) and the headlights possibly as well as the front grill "intake" area... and then some touchups. The amazing thing is that this model's pieces don't come in contact with the other painted pieces, which means no chipping of paint... enjoy:

I found a huge bag of Old G-1 Transformers the other day for a buck fifty and at the bottom was a wingless Armada Starscream. So i figured i would give him a paintjob and some wings and Hellion was born. Lemme know whatca ya think. see here for pics. http://home.comcast.net/~nemesisprime/hellion.html

Well, it's a work in progress, and is going somewhat quicker than I expected. I'm taking an Energon Scorponok and painting him like G1 Scorponok - thanks to Snowman81 for the idea. I've completed his claws save for the bolts that keep them together, and his torso area. I've yet to do the tail or legs, but hopefully will be finished sometime tomorrow. As soon as I plug the memory card in, I'll be posting some in progress pictures. I figured it might be fun to show the creative (AHAHAHAHAHA! I kill me sometimes) process, and not just a finished picture. I'm also finishing up a Skyblast repaint...had him finished until I fudged him up a bit. The next time …

Hey all, I'm thinking about entering the wild world of using RiT Dyes for my next kitbash- and I'm looking for links to people who have used the dye method, and their thoughts on it as well as the finished products. So far the best info I've been shown is here: http://webpages.charter.net/mpalze/ (thanks CrazySteve if you're reading this!) anyone have any other websites on the subject I could check out? thanks pike

G1-style with a subtle nod or two to the never produced Super-Megatron in the Return of Convoy line.

I just realized that he's make a better King Atlas/Dai Altas than the Universe toy we got. He has most of the right contours, the right helmet and the right altmode... It would at least make a KILLER con exclusive... But I'd like to see what it looks like. Unfortunately, I just changed computers and I need to download Paint Shop Pro again since I can't find my CD. If anyone else wants to try this, feel free.
