  2. Finally, Grimlock has one of his soldiers back! Sludge is pretty much a straight-up repaint of Dinotron from Beast Machines. I didn't have to make any modifications to the existing mold. Dinotron's face was pretty close to Sludge to begin with so just a little paint in the right places and the lumbering Dinobot is ready to face the Legacy Decepticons. The dinosaur mode does look a little weak, but again, this is due to my plan of making these things as close to the originals as possible, and Generation One Sludge isn't all that detailed to begin with. Sludge's bio and Tech Specs can be found here: http://members.fortunecity.com/deinonychus/sludge…

Well guys its been a long time sence I'ev done a custom, good bad or otherwise but I'ev got a good one for you this time. I'm sure we'ev all seen the E Screamer mold repainted in to his fellow seeker buddy skywarp, and thundercracker. I liked that idea as well, but I didnt want it to look just like everyone else's.Sence the only part of the Escreamer mold I dont like is his wings. I cliped them off, and replaced with a nice shiney new set of wings. I stole the tail wings, and missle launchers off of a reissue skywarp that a buddy of mine got for me.a little bit of repainting, and re-tooling later here is what you got let me know what you think guys :wave

Here's my second transformer repaint - RID Landfill! These were the Wal Mart exclusives, only cost $9. Total time: About 5 hours, doing the detail painting was a real pain the butt. Overall, I'm liking this one - I'm getting much more skilled with the fine point brush, covering up blemishes without creating MORE of them. I've GOT to become more frugal with my spraypaints, I think I could get good results with less of it. ($5 for a small bottle really adds up - between this and my RID Prime repaint, I've shelled out over $40 for paints and brushes.) Going to go off and think about funny pictures I could make with my two customs........:) :) :)

  7. Okay, I'm sure you people will notice a trend with me - I REALLY LIKE black, red, gold leaf and chromatic silver. At any rate, I'm getting fairly close with my first all brush no spraypaint repaint. I picked one of my favorites, E-Megatron. His legs are off on this picture, and they are almost finished themselves. The major theme will be black and gold, especially in robot mode. His plane underbelly/robot front hasn't been touched at all yet, I may get him done later tonight and post new pictures. In the center of the picture, where the flash is, is chrome silver and a touch of gold, in case you are curious. I just wish E-Scorponok was as easy to dissasem…

  8. Okay, I loved the Transformers RID Optimus Prime. However, I had the Sam's Club exclusive - in otherwords, TOO DAMN YELLOW! UGLY! So......after spending some dough at a hobby shop on some spraypaints, acrylics and a paintbrush, I have painted it to a much cooler looking theme, at least in my opinion. I've always loved black and gold, and I added some red as an homage to what has traditionally been an Optimus color. It's not 100% finished, but by and large all I have to do now is paint some smaller areas/retouch some larger ones. (And find a smaller screwdriver, so that I might totally dissasemble his torso - the lower half of it it still yellow, but hidden in thi…
