Upgrades

Hi there :wave , just joined here and wanted to show you some of my custom in progress TFs. Please let me know if you have any comment or critique. First the custom that every TF kitbasher has made: Armada Scourge/Nemesis Prime; this could seem kinda boring but I had to put a lot of work into him, because since I used a bootleg Prime as the base, I had to make up for myself the lower arm articulations, the bootleggers modified the mold a lot at that area. Plus I remade his mini-con so Prime can hold it as a sword and I modified the mini-con's chest so it can bend, to make it less protruding. I renamed him Fury, as RID Scourge's sword. And it never even got to a full shade of black. It looks like a very dark Brown. But Im happy with it. Its black enough. The Silver Color aps turned a bronze/gold color. Which looks cool. I also dipped his silver parts in the black dye a few times to dirty up them up. And it worked. …

In case anyone was wondering where i have been..(prolly nobody) heheheh Me and my wife found our she's pregnant with our first child. :) I should get back into Kitbashing as the first excitement wears off...does it wear off? People ask what i want..and i tell em..whatever it is still gonna wear spiderman pajamas and a tiny shirt that says "I LOVE ROBOTS" muhauhhaha i can't wait.

Introducing: Heatwave! While doing my first kitbash- a repaint of an over-sized Freny/Rumble knock-off into Frenzy, I took two toys apart and put all the blue parts into what would become Frenzy and the rest made up a rather nice colour scheme that I thought I'd keep. I added a few paint details and voila, my first ever fan character and joint-first kitbash! (The Frenzy repaint is pretty awful. Needs a lot of work before I show it!) All I need are some guns for this guy. He's bigger than the real cassettes. EDIT: OK, why can't I attach any images? When I attach a pic and click "Submit Post", it just goes blank... EDIT: OK, it's working now! Weird...

I've got a big soft spot for custom jobs. Mainly these would involve a lot of repainting, but some might involve some minor retooling (add/remove a siren, customize a head, etc.). ANYWAY!
