I know it's too late to change anything now, but I have a suggestion for future voting contests...

 

Would it be possible to do 2 voting sections, one for digital repaints, and one for real repaints / kitbashes. I mean, I'm not dissing the Seekers digipaint, I think it's great, but I don't think it should be in the same class as say the BT Charger or E-megs repaint. Does any one else have opinions on this?

 

note: I'm just using the top goers from each category, I'm not picking favorites :)

I'd personally be in favor of that as well. But I think it'll work a lot better once we get more entries, so to speak. I think it would only work if we could get at least 6 real kitbashes/repaints and 6 digipaints, to have a decent amount of options in the poll.

 

Then after that, perhaps have the two winners face off?

Also it's already hard enough to get people to vote with just one voting room much less two. To be frank there might not even be anymore repaint contest, as what's the point of doing it when you only get 30+ votes out of 1000+ members? :tfmad

I was wondering about the digital repaints myself, but I understand your point. They do take more time, and money to do. Its seldom that I do any repainting personally (which is odd, because I've done 3 paint/dying projects since Saturday, but I'm sure that this little bout of inspiration will dry up quickly), plus the digital repaint seems to be quite the rage lately. As for digital repaints being easier, well maybe alittle, but to do a good job manipulating an image takes some ability.

I hear you on that one though. I didn't realize I was going to end up in the running for this, but since I am I've been following it closely, and I wish that more people would vote- C'mon TFans Members, vote already!

 

well, however it ends up, its cool to be up against some nice pieces, I certainly have my favorites (not including my own) .

I see your point... But atleast all 30 of us that voted in this poll would have voted in the other one too :P
