My Energon Scorponok Repaint

Well, it's a work in progress, and is going somewhat quicker than I expected.

 

I'm taking an Energon Scorponok and painting him like G1 Scorponok - thanks to Snowman81 for the idea. I've completed his claws save for the bolts that keep them together, and his torso area. I've yet to do the tail or legs, but hopefully will be finished sometime tomorrow.

 

As soon as I plug the memory card in, I'll be posting some in progress pictures. I figured it might be fun to show the creative (AHAHAHAHAHA! I kill me sometimes) process, and not just a finished picture.

 

I'm also finishing up a Skyblast repaint...had him finished until I fudged him up a bit.

 

The next time I can find a good deal on an Energon Scorponok, I'll have to pick two up - one to keep in Energon colors, and one to paint in a Black Zarak motif.

 

Oh, and Snowman 81 - about that guide you asked me about - I thought about it and realized it might be a pretty good idea for me to get a couple more repaints under my belt, for experience. Expect it within 2 weeks.
