Well, damn this one is taking a long time. Probably because I've lost my main brush and have had to use my fine fine fine detail brush.

 

Fairly decent results, I think. Originally I was going to follow closely with Snowman's digipaint of him, with the quasi-constructicon paint job.

 

But then I thought, and thought.....and I've decided that it's a military vehicle. And being an ex member of a military, it hit me that a LOT of military vehicles have that olive green styling. I also put in some gunmetal and gold.

 

The other portions of Landmine are still being worked on - should be done in the next 2-3 days.

Thanks - I'm ALMOST done with the other half of him - I was delayed somewhat when my 100% complete including box G1 Metroplex arrived via UPS today. :) :)

Thanks - I guess the smooth painting (for the most part) is a nice byproduct of having to use such a small brush.

 

At any rate.........I think he's about finished save for touchups. The one PITA part of him is that every time I transform him from alt mode to regular robot or powerlinx mode, the paint on his knobs (mind out of the gutter, guys!) chips and goes off, as evidenced in the pictures.

 

As such, I'll probably keep him in Powerlinx mode and touch him up from there.......after all, I keep most of my figures in robot mode anyways.
