So transformers is only the toy line for you? F' the characters, cartoons, history, bios etc? I can see why this fake transformer does not bother you.

You make it seem as though Hasbro is this one all powerful all creative being that comes up with all of the designs, stories, bios, history all on his own? Hasbro doesn't create Blot in the literal sense... (they do sell Blot)...

PEOPLE create all of this stuff... which to me is more or less art and I appreciate it as such. Just like someone might admire the Campbell's Soup Cans done by Andy Warhol. It's not admire because of it's branding or corporate representation... at least I don't think so.

Hasbro doesn't own the license on creativity or artistic ability.

Since we're all posting in this topic discussion though.... I believe the whole point was a simple inquiry...

JizaiToys PowerGlide, Where can this and other Jizaitoys be bought/ordered?

on teh back streets of hong kong at ur local KO table.

... that's just wrong. You can't just disregard half of a definition because it doesn't fit your argument.

Like Cartman would have said: it's wrong. It's wroooooooooooooooooooooong.

Hasbro and Takaratomy own the Transformers brand, either they're officially okay-ing it, or it's fake.

Nope, but they do own the license on Transformers.

Honestly, if Hasbro really had a problem with stuff like this, the Starscream outfit, the Quintessons, etc., they could issue cease-and-desist orders and shut them all down in five seconds. They haven't, which (I'm guessing) is because it doesn't impact their sales and isn't of the same quality as their stuff. Kind of like how Lucasfilm has been about SW fan sites.

And yeah, I said quality... try chucking JizaiToys' Powerglide across the room and see how he fares. "And awayyyy we go!"

I work in the design field so please don't preach costs to me, I know what it takes, and with modern computer design and rapid prototyping, it takes very little; unless you take into consideration the amount of money that had to be spent on the equipment to produce them. These are most likely made on a machine just like THIS LINK keeping production numbers small because of the time required to produce a single item.

I'm still waiting for a response to this. Just to the JizaiToys website, you can see pics of their ultrasonic cleaner that knocks all of the support material off of the production material.

and since we're defending Hasbro so much... how many figures have they produced that look like near exact reproductions of vehicles owned, trademarked, patented, whatever.... and never had an issue because they either didn't put the logo of that vehicle on the figure or had some minuscule cosmetic difference to avoid any legal issues? And I'm not talking about the Alternators line, I'm talking about... everything else...

I don't know my TF history as well as some of you... did they obtain all the appropriate "licensing" for the majority of the G! figures?

Example: Powerglide....

He transforms into an A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog airplane, source

A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic for the United States Air Force... source

Hmmm....
