Most disappointing TF

At least you had a brick with flavors. I like Quickswitch, though he sucks when compared to Sixshot, was pretty pumped when I won Quickswitch off Ebay for a nice price, thinking that we was Sixshots size. I was dissapointed to see he can barely groinpunch Sixshot. I still like him, though.

Alt. Sideswipe

Alt. Dead end

Seriously, how do you buy a TF then be disappointed, then buy the same mold again and still be disappointed redface2tf.gif

thats a good question

I use to have viper fetish. It All started RID Sideburn. :redface

At first it was Armada Scavenger, now it's him and TiTF Megatron, the first version of him to appear, I like the other TiTF's I've managed to get, but Megs is just...I can't even think of really horrible words so say about him that truly fit. So that's a brick with a big wheel for an arse and legs, which can probably give kids nightmares - Can's sleep, wheeled brick will eat me! - and a floppy, poorly made excuse for a TF. Though the tank mode isn't bad.

Quickswitch.

I was stoked after Sixshot.

I've heard of toys being bricks, but quickswitch turned into six different bricks.

no kidding. He is the only g1 toy I owned as a kid that made me feel like he was a KO (if I had known what a KO was at the time of course) ESPECIALLY compared to the awesomeness that was sixshot.

I'm almost thinking Movie Blackout. Not quite what I expected. ~_~ I think I saw the movie once too many times.

I think what disappointed me with Blackout was when you transform him into his alt mode w/o the blades piece on him, how little of the chopper his bot parts actually constitute.

Here's another big disappointment - Cybertron Defense Red alert. Of all the "upgrades" the Cybertron Defense members got, I would argue that Red alert got the shorter end of the stick out of the 3.

Titanium Megatron was a dead giveaway from the pics. Everything about that mold IMO screamed avoid at all costs.

Armada Scavenger however was another one I avoided but eventually got it through endcapping. In hand the mold isn't great but hardly the worst. I actually ended up really liking Scavenger. Cartoon accurate enough in both modes, cool sound effects, minicon, & actual rubber rolling threads. Saw very little to hate about him in comparison to the other Armada bots.

SM I also have to give props to Cybertron Defense Red alert. IMO this was the best out of any of the Ultra classed toys from Cybertron. The only thing that lacked was the articulation in the shoulders. Other than that is was a pretty badass/fun mold in both modes.

Lately I think the only disappointment for me is Fab Brawl. I really have no use for this toy. The deluxe as much as I hated it is superior in every way conceivable. Then again this was for the 5 & under crowd so what could expect.

Armada Blurr. 2002 and they were still making unarticulated TF. Piss off.

He has a fantastic car mode, though, but it could hardly roll. I even liked SideSwipe more than Blurr. At least SideSwipe could run, strangely, but still run. Best out of Armada were Starscream, Redalert, and Thrust, and their respective Repaints. Smokescreen and his re-made guy were also quite respectable, but Blurr is quite deffinitely the worst P.O.S. I have in my collection. All the other have more than 14 pts. of articulation. I also disliked Energon Mirage when I got him. The split femurs give me headache. Boy was that dissapointing. Oh, and my broken Energon Demolishor...Wow. He was broken, his waist piece was assembled wrong. I really wanted Demolishor, but...that was sure as hell dissapointing. Energon had quality issues. 10th Anniv Dinobot was also quite dissapointing. Such an expensive toy, and his shoulder join was bent, his colors wayy bad...I never expected Dinobot to such this much. I should have been better off buying the original off Ebay. Even BW Grimlock would have done it for me.

Ugh, mine broke right out of the box. The tab that holds the right shoulder in place popped off the first time I TF'd it. And of course it was the last one I could find in town. Exchanged it for Ratchet, which I turned out to really like.

Deluxe Jazz is now my current disappointment. Maybe they will release him again with some freakin' arms next time.
