RID Bruticus. I recently sold it too... except... it didn't arrive to the buyer and I don't have it here. WTF Its a curse I tell ya. I'm gonna have to replace it... I hate that toy. I'd buy it again sealed tho.. cuz I'm a sucker.

On the idea of Throttlebots. I would say that the Portugese Rollbar was pretty disappointing. It was basically a Classic UK card with a little sticker on the back in Portugese.

first off, i loved 90% of energon toys, but wingsaber was the letdown of letdowns, he just stands there, his arms barely move, and his leg twist, wtf. he is pretty much a statue and prime armor, lame

- Energon Shockblast. They gave him two vehicle modes and they're both pathetic.

- Energon Grimlock/Swoop. Failed in pretty much every way.

- Scorponok. Yes, ALL of them. The G1 toy was a huge, disproportionate brick with a horrible color scheme, and even as a kid I got bored of him fast. Amazingly, the Energon/Cybertron one basically has the exact same problems, right down to the stupidly wide hips/short arms. (And I think the tank treads in place of scorpion legs is really lame.) As for movie Scorponok, well...his best feature is his interaction with Blackout, but really that just makes Blackout look better. EDIT: Oops, forgot about BW Scorp! He was actually pretty cool.

- Cybertron Sideways. An otherwise pretty cool design ruined by the fact that he's got about a third of a jet sticking out of his chest.

- Classics Grimlock. In this day and age there's really no good reason why any TF should be made with a bunch of parts that just flop around and don't attach to anything. There are a lot of modern TFs that have this problem, but Grimlock, being one of my favorite characters, bears the highest disappointment factor.

- Masterpiece Starscream. Mine had a piece broken off before I even picked it up, and the joints were so insanely stiff that there was much potential for more breakage. I had to sell it for half what I paid. I'm not touching the American version until someone can confirm it's not made from the same model-grade crap.

movie scorp. if he wasn't in the TRu 2 pack i would have passed

also why the hell did classics thundercracker not get a main release?!!

150 for him on the ebay ?!!!

also why all the hate for cl jetfire? he's one of the best to come out of classics

Too many to bother listing. It really sucks to grow up & realize they're just fraggin' toys. :07redface

Anyway I'll add classics Jetfire to my list of many. As a G1 representation is succedes brilliantly but as a toy it just sucks on so many levels. Especially when considering deluxes can carry more intelligent/complex transformation schemes. The legs/knees are like having Armada Jetfire reinarnated in a smaller body. The arms are decent so no problems there. The main gun split in two placement is among the worst peeves. For all the hype Jetfire didn't live up to any of what made the Classics Prime mold so awsome.

G1 reissue Prowl. $40 for this???? Nice box, & presentation but seriously gimmie a break. I guess I would have had to have one of these growing up to know the fascination/love attached.

Energon Cliffjumper. Really was there anything to like about this toy. With an alt mode/transformation scheme better suited to be a deluxe what were they thinking???? Same could be said for Energon Jetfire. The only voyager Autobot that was in anyway fun or rewarding to open was Ironhide. How sad is that?

Speaking of Energon I just remembered my most disappointing TF purchase of all time. Energon Omega Supreme. I honestly believe my hate for this one has grown in the past two or so years. Probably because for the Supreme price point you get a pretty piss poor toy that doesn't do a whole lot more than stand as well as provide armor for Energon Prime. The two vehicle modes are rubbish & don't do much aside from looking blocky/gaudy. The hand claw is completely useless, & he can do next to nothing but point with his other Tidal Wave style. Sound effects are limited to one explosion & the colors are blinding. Easily the worst TF I own & I own a lot of sucktastic TFs.

:pfx But cybertron Wingsabre was an absolute arse to pose as well!

I would add that Energon Omega Supreme/Omega Sentinel, Energon Wing Saber, and RID Optimus Prime as TFs that were too gimmicky even for Transformers - ideas that might have sound good on paper, but executed poorly when casted into plastic.

Cybertron Jetfire/Sky Shadow....

When I first purchased him, I thought he was going to be an excellent Transformer, however this was not true. That "hole" within his chest was horrible, and his gimmick was lame as hell. I ONLY like his Jet mode.

wow, several opinions bashed classics Jetfire :tfhuh

I'm amaized too. Cl Jetfire is one of mt top 5 favorites. :thumb

My most dissapointing one is Beast Wars Fuzors ... what's his name? The dude with the bee body and fish head. Nocturno or something?? God, he's aweful!

He's be great repainted as a Quntisson lacky but otherwise I don't think I'd even be able to trade him for Wheelie. :roll

Injector? I have him and love him..

That's it! Thanks and... sorry. ;)
