  1. Here is my 2006 repaint. Presenting to u "WSTF" Metroplex. See the size comparison with WSTF prime. It's built up from the kabaya type kits and repainted to look like this. Feel free to comment. thanks It's very small that's why hand painted and thus quite a bit of paint chip while transforming. Only 2 modes. can view my 2005 repaints here. 2005 repaints

  2. Started by Lobo,

I started it this weekend. I'm going to reshell Swindle with an F150 pickup. Can't have enough truck Alternators! :D I'm baseing it on my work truck for the most part. I work for a construction company so the homage factor actually works out and it still stays true to the Alternator story. It will be yellow with a black hood, some tool boxes, etc. Haven't decided on the head yet. Most likely I'll repo the one off Meister. I chose the Hound mold because I wanted the robot mode to look similar to my Inferno but I din't want Grapple to be a Jeep. Here's the work on the front clip. I had to widen it to be able to fit right in the model kit. And here's…

  3. Started by Valkfan,

First we have Alternator Ironhide. I've incorporated a few mods I've seen before as well as a new one in which the front bumper now plugs in to the back of the legs. The seats have been removed from the arms and one single pin is used to keep them together as opposed to the glue method which I didn't like. The custom license plate is from Reprolabels.

  4. Started by Lobo,

Figured I'd start a new thread on this. I'm attempting to make and Alternator Kup using an extra Smokescreen and a 1:25 Chevy SSR. I want to show the process I use and maybe it'll help with your projects. This pic is what I'm going for. I didn't make the Digibash and don't know who did. I think it came off the 2005 boards. Special thanks to Adi for finding it! *edit* Lazerbeak on the TFW2005 Boards made the Digibash back in November. Awesome work!

  5. Started by Valkfan,

The heads pictured below are color casted. For Dragstrip, it's a black head and the painted parts are the yellow, red, and silver. Breakdown is casted in blue and only his red face and purple eye's are painted. Deadend is casted in black with purple and gold paint but I used clear coat to make his head shinny black since his 1986 profile states that he "spends most of his time shining himself." so I thought it was appropriate at the time. The gloss coat does make the black even darker but it also highlights the smallest imperfections. I'm thinking of looking for some semi gloss instead. Wildrider has been completely painted because I wanted a darker gray color. These have…

  9. Started by WarMachine,

This is my interpretation of how I thought Wheeljack could have looked. Don`t get me wrong, the new Alt Wheeljack that`s coming in May is pretty cool but I always thought from the beginning this body style fit him more than the linebacker look he has now. Yes I know alot of people don`t like alot of decals and ads on cars. As in the case of Decepti-drag-charge-thrust-strip. But I do. Maybe that`s why I like BT Smokescreen alot. I love the paint job on him too. Much better than the plastic Alt. First up is the model I based him on. It`s a 1996 Dodge Viper GTS-R competition coupe. IMO, As soon as I saw the colors, decals and overall layout/design of this car, I thought …
