So I started a "motivational course" and on the third week there a new guy started.. Huge muscle-guy with tattoos, looked the serious type who you don't wind up.. I tried to avoid all contact with him Well I'm like that, anyone who looks like that just doesn't seem friendly to me.. I was sat on the PC looking at Transformers pics and checking out the Dendrobium Gundam. He came next to me and just said "Stamen with Dendrobium pack on it! Cool hey check out GundamMad.co.uk" We get chattin and he is a complete Gundam nut.. He showed me pics from his phone of his collection. He then showed me a kit-bash he did.. Just sharin this AWESOME job he did!

Hope you guys enjoy it--I worked hard on getting this thing just right. Here's a quick run-down on what I used and what I did: 1) Paint (Testors Acryl Blue, Black Flat, Orange Gloss, Red Gloss, Light Ghost Gray, Silver Gloss, Gray, & a dark gray I mixed up. 2) For the G1 arm cannon, I used the back end of an oversized Bic pen (cut down and glued so you couldn't "click it" anymore). I used my dremel to cut the pieces off the bottom of the Energon Megatron electronic tank/cannon so that they could still "snap" into his arm. I glued them to a small piece and mounted the hacked up pen (well, the back end of it). I proceeded to go through 3 different arm cannon…

My son has one of them there Bionicles and I noticed how articulated they are and how you can almost transformer them... and it got me thinking how they might be a good source for creating the "base" of a custom Transformer. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

So, here's one that I've been fiddling with for some time: My Classics Cosmos. This is a heavily modded Cybertron Razorclaw. And the best part about using Razorclaw is that Cosmos can spin when attached to a minicon port, just like a normal UFO. Now all I need to finish is Warpath and I will have all the '85 minibots bashed as minicons.

Here are my finished three alternator Dinobots, Grimlock, sludge and Snarl I will be getting started on Slag from Rollbar which is standing on the rear. Then I will start on Swoop from a windcharger but people keep beating me to it on ebay LOL anyways enjoy and any comments are very highly welcome. Blaster just needs decals on the hood and maybe a few touch ups here and there, and Soundwave i only painted his arms and head, i didn't have the time to finish him due to the fact that I just got married and didn't had the time but I will finish him this weekend for sure and set him on my display with his cassete transformers. He will be painted into the blue on his …

I'd like to formally announce that there's a newly created website which is dedicated to kitbashing and customizing Transformers. Like Transtopia before it, Sector70.com will feature many useful galleries, tutorials, and a full forum that's focused on the art of kitbashing and designing cool TF's. There won't be any news related features...just pure kitbashing, customizing, repainting, scratchbuilding, and detailing (with some fine art/2D sections for good measure). If you're interested, please check out www.sector70.com and get involved on the forums. There are sections for site feedback, tutorials, and much more. I hope to see you there. All the best, JAF

I painted his nose/mouth silver like in the film. I also fixed up his eyes with blue with silver outlining details since his light piping is such bad quality. I also added the gold paint to the knuckles where his fingers meet his hand. I also fixed up Ratchet's mouth to be silver The interior ankle circles on Prime's legs are now silver with gold frames like in the film Bumblebee's face has more silver, and his hands are now painted yellow and silver like the film. Sorry for some of the pics. I don't always have the steadiest of hands when it comes to photo taking, and the camera is of so-so quality as well.

Well, to give my work table a little diversity and change, I like to work on several projects at a time, this helps me keep my mind fresh and focused while creating. I find if I am working on the same thing for several nights in a row, it will tend to become more "work" than passion. So, in that respect, I've started a new addition to my WIP(s) One of my the most memorable G1 episodes to me, was the Autobot Spike / Autobot X episode. And since he is easily distiguished, and never made into a figure, I figured I'd kitbash the figure. I had some 'downtime' at the office today, and built this in illustrator. I'm planning to make this entirely out of styrene. Holdi…

Hey-oh, welp, it's time for another autobot reshell. I've been holding off a little while waiting to see what hasbro had to offer this year. I figured one guy that probably won't be making a comeback was mirage. He's been the willing skeleton to my tracks and wheeljack in the past and I thought it was about time to give him his due. I've got most of him already plotted out and ready to go. I'll let you guys try to figure out where the head came from. ;) I would give you a hint but I don't want to be a spoilsport!
