nice job there! it's great seeing prime made into Ultra Magnus! not only did you have the balls to do a custom...you took it to the next level, and created something that wasn't just a "repaint" thumbs up!

Thanks for the comments everyone. any input is much appreciated. The silver is a bitt of a pain in the butt. especially if you try to make it look worn before you seal it. it streaks when you rub off the excess black.

 

I used Krylon sprays for the base colors and testors enamels for the ageing and small details.

 

It's still a WIP though. I need to repaint the center section of the chest red to match the rest of it. I am also sculpting that airplane looking thingie to fit into the two holes in the chest. that in turn is also going to be able to snap into place on the back of the sleeper while in truck mode.

 

I believe you guys call that a partsformer.

as long as you have both TIME and BEER, haha.

 

anyway nice first repaint, just don't get too far ahead of yourself. I know i did. I think you should stick to repaints and some minor mods fo' sho'. I jumped into fabricating and scratchbuilding toooo quickly, and now I dont havemuch feeling in my left thumb-tip. be careful, and remember Sharp blades are safer than dull;)
