Had this one on the work table for a while. These scout bashes were supposed to be quick and easy, but the head mods have been holding me up. Just working on finishing the paint job now.

This builds been back an fourth several times. Started out as going for pure toon accuracy. Then, went to Dreamwave style, then to some CGI stuff I saw. In the end, it's a combination of the three, Added this comunication thing at the last minute. Figured I may as well make use of it. The deck mode sucks cause I added them silver leg plates without test fitting first. Because of that, the sides tend to stick out. Might change it if'n I get ambitious some day. Some day I may also add some knobs and lights or even a Serius radio, but it's highly unlikely being that I've never "truely" finished a build yet.

Well, just to take a break from my usual G1 themed bashes, I decided to tackle a beast project I had been planning. Presenting Magnus Primal (aka Monkey Magnus): The blades on his wrists are removable and can be connected to his lower legs or held in his hands (but that doesn't look as cool). I created him as an adversary for my Nemesis Primal than I had made earlier.

This was the first thing that I thought of when I saw this mold, and I have to think that someone at Hasbro agrees with me, because the colors are almost perfect as-is. I don't know what they were thinking with that uncolored visor. I gave it a few coats of Taniya clear red. The face was whittled out of the head with an exacto knife, and the horns (or ears if you like) are epoxy putty. Quikwood to be precise. "First you crack the shell, then you scramble the eggs inside!" And posed with the best Rumble figure ever- some Japanese quarter-machine toy. I'll eventually get around the painting the head a proper color.

Hi folks. Im currently adding some details to my First Strike Optimus Prime. Ive added metallic red, yellow and some black detailing to him in order to make him more "G1" looking. I'm also going to add some cut to fit clear dark blue plastic to glue over the window parts of him in bot mode and also add painted plastic plates to go over his shoulders and then Im going to add an Autobot symbol on both shoulders. My main prob now is in his legs and feet. Why oh why Hasbro didn't make Prime's inner leg and feet units in the same dark blue as his hands is beyond me, but this is what I want to do. I have two possible solutions: - the legs and possibly the k…
