Just wondering....I think many people still feel Masterpiece Optimus is the be all end all Optimus in the Alternators line. I think Alt Optimus was supposed to be Trailbreaker/Hoist given his overall design (long shoulders, hood as the chest, etc). Are you changing Alt Optimus into something else? I'm wondering and throwing this out to you all because I've thought about changing this figure into Trailbreaker (as I can't and will not get Nemesis Prime for >$30) or Ironhide. The easiest way I've thought about doing this is changing heads. I have an Alt Hound, and find that the head ball is too high and too big to accomodate Alt OP's smaller and lower head ball. …

We know that most movie toys come out months before the flick and are usually on clearance before the movie even hits the theaters. If this is the case - and we can say that from test shot to store shelves is around 6-8 months then we should be getting close to pic time. Am I right? Jaguaratron? Bueller? Movie released --> July 2007 Toys released --> May 2007 Protos ---> October - December 2006

How do people feel about hasbro doing more limited releases of alts at higher price points? I think the nemesis prime could have worked out really well if they had just made a few more and done a better job of limiting scalping. What if hasbro did more online exclusive releases. Like Ultra Magnus at $25 or $30. Trailbreaker as a jeep for $30 or hoist as a Pickup with a crain towing apparatus that became a huge gun. I think one a quater would really help them justify the cost of the line and tools. Keep in mind they make a much higher margin on toys they sell themselves, particularly if the price point is even higher. Lets guess that a normal alt $2-3 to make, and they se…

Got to say I have just sold mine on ebay after offering it in the end cap. This figure was such a huge dissapointment for the amount of dollar I paid for it. It had the worst vehicle mode I have seen on a G1 type transformer and it was so delicate it took the piss, i couldnt pick the thing up without bits falling off its arms. I do hope we dont get any more of these. The trailer was quite cool though.

Note that this poll considers the PlaySkool Big Adventures Transformers as part of the "Go-Bots" Transformers. http://www.collectablekingdom.com/images/s...th-video005.jpg I would say that they all count because: 1. They are produced under licence from Hasbro/Takara (Hasbro owns Tonka & PlaySkool) 2. They are marketed and sold as Transformers action figures (albeit targetted towards early infants) 3. They even have their own TV series! (complete with that highly annoying theme song) Not even Binaltech/Alternators have a cartoon! BURN! http://www.dvandom.com/images/speedbot1005.JPG Go! Go! Go-Bots! Transformers Go-Bots! - Har! Now the song is stuck…

I've noticed a few threads about a particular Alt. or BT having flaws, I tend to say little on the flaws I find. I've noticed that the BT and Alt. Lines have been suffering from very poor parts, mostly in the arms and legs. Like for example BT Prowl's arms can pop off too easily, his doors aren't safe either. Alt. Wheeljack has flaws where his arms and doors pop off well too easily and Alt. Shockwave has a flaw where his right arm falls off. What flaws are the rest of you finding in your BT/Alts.? Are the flaws ruining your enjoyment of the TF in general? I like Alt. Wheeljack, but his flaws are very annoying. I'm done. -Such a nice line, let down by nasty flaw…

Hi, Now that pics of classics OP have shown up he seems to have the same yellow splodge and piece cut out of his face that classics meg (g2 homage) did, leading to one of 2 conclusions: 1. It's supposed to represent battle damage 2. It's something done to the test shots to discourage people acquiring them illegally. I hope it's the latter as it looks rubbish IMO. Why make a half-decent figure then gash a piece out of it and ruin it totally. OK, the battle damage effects worked on some armada figures (galvatron, wheeljack) but not on these. Does anyone have any info/ideas/opinions as to which is the case?

To the users who HAVE Camshaft already, ... What is your take on the figure? Nice paint job? The pics of the flat grey look awful. And would it KILL hasbro to find a decent pose? I am getting less-and-less attached to alt Prowl (the Acura RSX is NOT a Police car), and may consider purchasing Camshaft.
