Toys

Nert nert whirr click! What would Transformers be without toys? Share the love of all things plastic and die-cast in here.

  1. Started by shajaki,

seeing as how the classics megs news post is basically an anti-classics megs thread i thought this thread would balance it out. so his colors are slightly fugly and his cannon is on the bottom of his arm. get over it. we dont give hastak much credit, and for this line, especially megs, they deserve some gratitude. that fact that they tried to make a gun megs is nothing short of amazing. and after following the guidlines for making gun toys they came out with that, i think they deserve something other than the stereotypical fandom Starscreaming for once. does anyone else feel this way? besides hotrod/opp?

  2. Started by evrdazed,

hey guys, I had a little time on my hand with a digi cam so i took some pics of my favourite little toy (THS 02) and his trailer. I forgot to flip prime's wheels around in the first half, oops! Enjoy With Mini Alt Smokescreen (hotwheels) With C-Armourhide continued.... with E-Prime (kit)

  3. I've included Decoys here because, let's face it, they're just pencil erasers that were packaged with some of the 1987 Transformer toys. In Japan, Takara marketed them separately as pencil rubbers - nothing more. Hasbro sold them as "Decoys"... yeah right... Spot The Difference! - two of these Transformers are meant to be decoys So this poll includes: + Decoys + PVC statues - this includes Super Collection Figures, Mega Collection Figures, Heroes of Cybertron, K-T figurines, Kabaya candy and gum PVCs and models, TV and hobby magazine exclusive PVCs, MyClones, Q-Robos etc etc etc etc etc etc... and that's just the tip of the iceberg. + Any other kind of bust…

Thrown up a few proto galleries up on behind the toys if anyone wants to see, will be some more going up over next few days of what I think are interesting items including some Takara internal pieces http://www.behindthetoys.com/archive/

  5. Just a little topic to let everyone know that Alternators have been price cut to 15.00 at Wal-Mart. This isn't a mistake they are now 15.00 (at least in Maryland). I bought Camshaft ,Mirage, and Prime and thought I got a great deal when they all rang up for 15.00 but I found out latter that day from a Wal-Mart Employee that Wal-Mart has cut the price. So happy hunting.

Yeh, Umm, I just think that the Universal planet key/ key to vector sigma? that comes with Vector Prime is really nice looking and was wondering how I'd go about making a non-permanant necklace out of it. I was thinking first of just drilling a hole through it but i really dont wanna screw it up likethat. Then I thought that perhaps If I took off a key slot from some cheap Cyb. TF and drilled a hole through part of the key slot then I coulde just route the lace through the hole. But I have no idea of what TF to choose this part from (i don't want anything huge, preferably small slot so it doesnt take away from the key itself while on the necklace) Thanks in ad…

Is there a clear define difference between the targetmaster figures and regular figures? Besides the TM guns? Like is there anything special written on them or special holes to hole the TM? Can a collector mix and match figures and get away with it without getting caught? Any ideas?

  8. This poll defines "drone" as including: + Roller Buggy (from Optimus Prime) + Roller Car (from Motormaster) + Slammer (from Metroplex) + Metro Tank (from Metro Titan) + Japanese Micromaster Trailers (Star Convoy comes with a black one) + Scorponok's Cyber-Bee + Polar Claw's bat + Depth Charge's rifle This poll defines "peripheral" Transformers as including: + Scamper (from Metroplex) + Sixgun (from Metroplex) + Full Tilt (from Trypticon) + Cog (gestalt made from Gasket and Grommet from Fortress Maximus, or from Onomus and Koka from Grand Maximus) - note that Cog may count as two or three Transformers depending on the outcome of Poll #3 at the time that dat…

Hello, i'm currently fixing up a WST KO superion set with reprolables and good old fashioned elbow grease. Unfortunalty i'm very far from the rest of my WST collection. Does anyone have any comparison pics of KO micro Fire Flight and the WST seekers? Exspecially skywarp? Thanks in advance. Mick.

Is Crybertron Vector Prime hard to find at all? I picked one up today, but it was the first tangible encounter we've EVER had... sooo yeah.
