This poll defines "drone" as including:

+ Roller Buggy (from Optimus Prime)

+ Roller Car (from Motormaster)

+ Slammer (from Metroplex)

+ Metro Tank (from Metro Titan)

+ Japanese Micromaster Trailers (Star Convoy comes with a black one)

+ Scorponok's Cyber-Bee

+ Polar Claw's bat

+ Depth Charge's rifle

This poll defines "peripheral" Transformers as including:

+ Scamper (from Metroplex)

+ Sixgun (from Metroplex)

+ Full Tilt (from Trypticon)

+ Cog (gestalt made from Gasket and Grommet from Fortress Maximus, or from Onomus and Koka from Grand Maximus) - note that Cog may count as two or three Transformers depending on the outcome of Poll #3 at the time that data is harvested.

+ Fasttrack (from Scorponok)

+ Rolitch (a.k.a. Guardminder; from Black Zarak)

+ Metrodash (from Metro Titan)

+ Metroshot (from Metro Titan)

http://www.unicron.us/tf1986/cartoon/metro...pg<---Sixgun - a walking gun rack. Is it really a TF toy?

http://www.unicron.us/tf1986/cartoon/metroplex4b.jpg<--- Slammer and Scamper, do they count?

This does not include non-sentient Transformer drones such as Godbomber, the Japanese Seacons and Beast Machines Deployers. Regardless of lacking "sentience" they all count as Transformers toys (this is a toy collection count, not a sentience count :P - besides, these are TOYS... none of them are really living or sentient... if you think otherwise, seek help) - more importantly, they were all sold and marketed as individual Transformer toys by Hasbro/Takara -- the figures included in this poll have never been independently marketed as autonomous Transformers action figures.

I've voted "No, none of them count."

I find this kind of a hard one. Personally I'd call them seperate characters and figures even if they weren't sold seperately, however I can see how many would simply see them as a part of the larger figure that they came with. Personally I'm voting for number two: They all count except Drones and Star Wars Pilots.

I voted "They all count except for drones and Star Wars pilots" but this one needs looking into a bit more. I'd count Scamper, not too sure about Sixgun though. :schin

I'd just lean towards "No."

The only one that I'm a bit iffy on are characters like Scamper; he's still a TF on its own in both modes and not a "peripheral" character/unit to Metroplex like Sixgun...

Ooh wow, a deadlock! How interesting! It'll be interesting to see how this poll turns out. I think it will definitely be another very close one like Poll #1. (^_^)

I believe they count except for drones and SW pilots.

My reasoning:

example 1: Roller does not count since it's just a drone and couldn't be recognised as a transformer toy on its own.

example 2: Peripheral Transformers do countprovided they could pass off as a transformers toy on their own like Sixgun who looks like a transformer alright. Iwouldn't count Scamper and Slammer though since they are just drone vehicles like Roller (see example 1)

but scamper transforms... doesn't he? (it's been so long since I've seen him, i forget if he truly transforms or just add arms to him or something..)

Oh, well if Scamper transforms he counts in my book. If not, he doesn't.

Drones don't count. The small guys that actually transform like Gasket and Grommet do IMO.

Damn you and your polls Goki, you are forcing me to be a hipocrite.

Anyway, I have never counted any of the peripheral figs, but based on my criteria, I probably should. They do transform and they do have names, so I should count them, but I don't. I see them as attachments to their bigger bots and therefore not seperate figures. Damn you Goki, making me think about things!!!
