I'm in 2-minds about buying it. THS01 was nice, but not great IMO.

I like mine. And although the hip joint is a bit weak - i dont have any QC issues with it.

Ulp - I just bought one. Didn't realise it has these kind of issues. Will find out when it arrives I guess....

THS-02 you buy for the great little robot mode. He just looks cool in various poses.

 

But the alt mode is pretty awful. I haven't even transformed mine. Okay, actually I started to transform him but I became so frightened by all the fragile small parts that had to be moved in a very precise manner, that I quickly went back to the robot mode and poses him in flight with his gun raised. (And I don't even like the movie.)

 

 

But I will honestly admit that I, too, was looking at my THS 2 earlier today thinking that it cost a Blot load of money for a small figure with which I really can't do that much.

 

He still looks nice though :roll

It's not uber-super OMG wet my pants orgasm good, but it's still a very good toy, free from the QC issues it's predecessor did have, and full of cool accessories. I'd sell mine if I was starving but it'd be one of the last things to go.

How much did you guys pay? I got mine for $45. I think it's just fine. Sure, the truck looks dumb, but most versions of G1 Prime have sucky truck modes. He has a load of detail, and he's posable. Sure, he's delicate, but just so that I have to be careful when moving him. It's not like pieces fall off of him.

Paid about £25 for it including shipping. That's probably about $45 but considering we pay £20 ($35) for an alternator over here in the UK I don't know how it compares.

Bits falling off the arms? Must just be yours.

THs-02 is awesome. It's the masterpiece I was waiting for, way better than MP01 IMO. His cab mode might be bad (pics don't do it justice, I actually like the cab) but the trailer makes up for it.
