Wow, I'm definitely in the not-what-I-expected camp with these guys. I am disappointed, but I'll probably still get them anyway. At the very least, they could've incorporated wings onto the *ahem* "flight modes", but like some have suggested...maybe these are Cybertron modes. Hopefully they'll get Earthly forms and new toys...but until then, I'll just complain about them:

The vehicles are a little uninspired...too Pretenderesque generic hovercraft for my tastes. The 'bot modes are okay, but look like some weird Microman bad guys or something (anyone know who Acro-Jekyll and Acro-Hyde are?)...It looks like the have dust busters for hands, but hopefully further pictures will disprove this...speaking of which, the foot hands in the combined robot form look dumb...hopefully mistransformed or have hands sculpted underneath. The combined vehicle mode...is just plain crap. C'mon! Neat idea, but falls short. Hopefully I'll change my tune once I get these in hand. Here's to HOPE!!!

wow those look like crap they don't even look like animated figures more like those playschool transformers...this is a total disappointment...I mean the robot mode looks horrible and the vehicles are just as bat...I hope their cybertron figures and maybe we will get earth modes that make up for these disappointments.

Crom! Now that is some odd looking stuff there. The nosecone and cockpit canopy look like a Colonial Viper from Battlestar Galactica.

FRAKK YEAH!!!!!!

I am all over these....when are they out? I hope these are in the same shipment with Shockwave.

I think I'm going to do a custom paint job on these to look like the stealth fighter from BSG (the body style is the same). And they combine in bot mode, how cool. makes me think of early anime toons with multiple combiner ships and bot.

Uh... Wha!?!? :tfwtf

And so the circle is complete. :tflaugh

in box pic, apparently when combined they're called "Safeguard"

Oo... no seriously, Oo.

The alt modes are nice, atleast if u can flip the feet back. Botmodes...err..hope they have hands yeh. The orange one reminds me of one of the "evil" guys in Highlander 2 ._o

Combiner modes... well, combined alt mode is silly, not really combined. Combined bot mode is ok I guess, but the looooong arms with feet for hands kinda ruin it.

If I ever get these two, they're staying in alt mode. Also, I'm kinda bummed that Jetfire looks nothing like any Jetfire I know (which is mostly G1/classic), but whatcha gonna do? :|

Btw, which one of them is which? Orange says Sunstorm to me, only orange jet I know...
