They could sure trick the audience (us) a lot by emphasizing certain gadgets, cars, planes, etc...during scenes/shots involving humans in the beginning, thereby driving us nuts trying to figure out who's a TF and who isn't. A later reveal of who the bots have been (but not too much later) could be pretty cool.

Exactly! :thumb

Dang Straight!!

PM Don Murphy with this sh*t, TOP STUFF! :thumb :thumb :thumb :thumb :thumb

Be my guest...I post on his board, but I never seem to get many responses. It seems like you gotta pound away at the regulars there with the same topics/ideas over and over before you get "heard".

BTW - Not like I have any mad skills, but I know what works well on screen and with pacing because I'm a filmmaker :)

That is not the case at all.

There are just so many fans and so many questions I can only answer whatever I know.

Until there is a first draft script there is just nothing final to discuss.

Hopefully today.

EDIT: Removed comment.

Anyway, classic transformation sound ALL THE WAY!!!!

I wonder if this is actally Don Murphy. If it is, you rule Don!. :thumb

i'd buy the soundtrack if they put the old songs along with the new ones

is there any final choices on what megs and soundwave turn into?

Yeah they should have some new tracks but I like some on the old one Like "The Touch" or "Notnins gonna stand in our way" but there were tracks that werent that good like "Death of Optimus prime or Hunger

I admit it would be annyoing to hear the TFing sound over and over again but use it Sparnginly.

That sound as the TF logo appeared on screen AND Peter Cullen's voice over saying that famous line, "Autobots... transform and ROLL OUT!" in the movie's trailer would probably add about $10M to the opening weekend box office. :tftongue

Oh man. Just thinking about that brought a tear to my eye.

Seriously, I would spend the WHOLE pay check just seeing that movie over and over again.

I cannot actaully believe there are someout there that want the eighties soundtrack to appear anywhere in or neat this movie. Maybe on the CD... whatever floats your boat... but who in their right minds digs up a 20 year old soundtrack for a new movie. As Homestar says, "Seriously."

I'd have to agree with LD...a new soundtrack is a must.

I'd like them to use that kickin' song from the Transformers game. THAT would be a great song to have playing while the Decepticons are ravaging planet earth.

I agree. I am wanting to see this movie more like the Tim Burton Batman (Beast Wars/Energon) and less like the campy 60's TV show Batman (G1 season 1 & 2). Which one do you really want see?
