I have the 3 RM Seekers on display & they're a bit toilet IMO. Each to their own I suppose.

I was just trying to make the point that they're cheaper and stuff, and "look" (avoiding italics) better if you're not going to play with them, which I don't.

...but you guys go ahead and buy your $200 Thundercrackers if it makes you happy.

I have seen the Robot Masters Seekers, and they certainly do not look better than the Classics Seekers; not by a long shot. While the jet mode paint detailing of the Classics Seekers may not be as "cartoon accurate" as the Robot Masters figures, their scuplting and over-all appearance is just as, if not more accurate. The paint schemes are simply bumped up a notch and given more flare. In robot mode, the paint schemes are nearly a perfect match, except on the wings. The Classics Seekers are ten times better than the Robot Masters Seekers.

Okay. For the record I was referring to the alt modes looking better, since I don't transform mine anyway. If you look at them when they're transformed they look like F-15's, which is cool since that's what they're supposed to be. They also have die-cast parts and landing gear in the right places and stuff. Unfortunately they don't have as quite as much flare, nor are their paint schemes bumped up a notch.

The problem with Robot Masters is that they are really not worth anymore than $10-$12. I have RM Optimus Prime and he is a pretty sorry piece of work.

:tflaugh The alt modes of the RM Seekers are a sorry excuse for planes IMO.

No kidding...tell me my Starscream's nosecone isn't the only one that's "misaligned" in jet mode. The seam's glaringly obvious, and that millimeter or two of "open" cockpit just stands out.

Mine looks like a drunken kitbash. They're okay I suppose - I just prefer the Classic jets. A lot.

If you look at the Classics Seekers (Starscream and Skywarp in particular), they too look like F-15s. They are F-15s. The only compromise they made was in the front landing gear which they couldn't put in the nose. And frankly, that isn't really a big loss. Also, Die-cast metal isn't all that it is cracked up to be. It's heavy. If it breaks, it can't be fixed. Good quality ABS plastic is lighter, quite durable, and repairable. It's also less expensive to use in manufacturing.
