Botcon Exclusive Set Revealed

Recommended Posts

I'm going to hold off jumping on and buying these now until I see some images I'm intrigue by the 2 non seeker characters to tell you the truth. I most likely will pick it up b/c Autobots far out number my Decepticons in the classic line so there goes half of my paycheck to Exclusives lol

I was thinking the same thing... but I get the feeling that pics won't be released until after the set is sold out. You know, just so they can be bigger dicks.

Hey, I guess what... I got all three seekers, and it only cost me about $60 total. I got this neat pin, too. They're called Robotmasters. You guys might want to check them out some time.

Robot Masters are not the same thing as Classics; not by a long shot. This is especially true of the Seekers. The CLassics Seekers are ten times better than the RM seekers. For one thing, the Classics seekers have full leg articulation. From what I understand, the RM seekers don't have any knee articulation whatsoever. The transformations are also different.

Classics missiles are also ten times larger than Robot Masters null rays, if you like that sort of thing.

I always prefered having knees. I've never had much use for null rays.

And, your point being? The Classics missile launchers are removable, and the holes for them in the arms and wings also accomidate the original G1 Seeker missile launchers.

Agreed, there is no excuse for the lack of knee joints.

I don't know what you're talking about.

"Bugbite?" So, we're getting Nemesis Bumblebee, then? Oops, excuse me, they might use the Cliffjumper mold instead. My bad.

I have a Robot Masters Starscream and a Classics Starscream they both have their pluses and minuses. Robot Masters has a show accurate paint scheme. It also has the already mentioned thinner null ray cannons. The jet mode is OK, but not great as the nose section droops, and it has no knees.

Classics has knees and seems a little tougher, but has no Decepticon symbols and the paint job is less than show accurate. As a toy Classics wins hands down. As a transformable model of cartoon Starscream Robot Masters wins.

I was just trying to make the point that they're cheaper and stuff, and "look" (avoiding italics) better if you're not going to play with them, which I don't.

...but you guys go ahead and buy your $200 Thundercrackers if it makes you happy.
