What's going to be really sad is that the MISB price for this figure will be astronomical in a few years because of the whole butt plug thing.

I have never understood that about you Pete. How can someone be into TFs as much as you clearly are and not have a collection? I guess you could be in it for the cartoons or the comics, but those have always been secondary to most people and you don't really show much interest in them from what I can tell. Granted I am ever so slightly biased w/ my "look at my collection" whoriness (new word), but I still don't get how people don't have the toys if they spend any time on the boards. What do you like about TFs and what keeps you posting about them all day? Just curious.

My MP Megatron is due to arrive on Tuesday, so I'll know by then if it got through OK or if it gets seized by customs (touches wood). Of course, I'm gonna be overseas on my honeymoon at the time, so I'm not gonna get to see my toy until I get back at the end of the month. Bleh. :P

Walking around the office with mine, people do get kinda startled by it. It's a big ass gun. People don't think to themselves "That gun is way too big to be real" when they see it, they think, "That's a big ass gun." So I leave the yellow plug in. It helps.

The Australian fandom has largely dismissed this as nothing more than a vicious rumour (and as pointed out on TAAU, different states have different laws regulating the import of replica weapons/toys anyway so you can't have a single rule about it governing the entire country). There are numerous reports of Aussie fans receiving their MP Megs fine and I've yet to see even ONE report of an Australian-based fan having their MP Megs confiscated by Australia Post customs. As others have pointed out, the toy is packaged in robot mode and the packaging primarily displays it in robot mode.

My unmodified MP Megatron arrived today, safe and sound, less than a week since it was shipped from Hong Kong.
