Why must Starscream have a head that look like this?

Because they wanted him to look darker apparently. Either that or they got him mixed up with Waspinator. Either way, I'm down with change. I don't want movie characters that look just like the 80's cartoon. That would be childish.

I'm fine with change, but why reinvent the wheel. In my opinion the facial expressions is what made Starscream the charater everyone likes. I mean how are we going to see his trademark smirk when he is plotting to overthrow Megatron. I just can't picture much expression at all with that head mold.

And here I thought it had something to do with his character. I had no idea that so many people loved Starscream's face. :P

It's the smirk, everybody loves a backstabers smirk.

:drool Such amazing detail!

My only niggle would be that their complexity may put kids off them. But then again, screw kids! :P

Damn straight, toys are wasted on children.

:tflaugh

makes me wonder how many adult fanboys are going to run to the stores before and after the movie is over (myself included lol)

These toys could last ages on the shelves if they are as good as I think they are going to be...

It's the smirk, everybody loves a backstabers smirk.

the only reason why Starscream smirked is because his face was dark grey and that would have made it more difficult to see his smile if he kept his mouth closed.

as for the toys, Blackout and Starscream have restored my faith in Hasbro's ability to translate the movie designs into toys :thumb and i like how the designs don't look G1, you'd think that people would be f*cking sick and tired of G1 by now but no! this is why little kids shouldn't be allowed to watch TV; their minds are too goddam impressionable :roll

Your post was merged with the other... Also please dont repost TFW's pics. They asked us not to and I agree with them that its not okay to do that without permission. Thanks!

Gotcha. On any other circumstance I wouldn't have, but I couldn't stop myself this time. :tflaugh

Well, these are different....Starscream reminds me of the BM Jetstorm toy. I like :thumb

Definitely loving Blackout/Incinerator/whatever the f*ck his name is - Insectlike and evil looking :thumb :thumb

To Begin:

They are ALL aliens. These are the most alien-like TF's I've ever seen, even more than Beast Machines.. And the decepticons have kept that ideal.

What's more, and I figure I don't need to tell you this, but these are quite well engineered toys for what they are.

If you look there, you'll see 25 points of articulation, with the possibility of a 26th in the waist. That's pretty good, considering this thing will have to have incredibly tight joints in the legs to stand up. Also, all 3 claws on each hand open up... which is just an awesome visual. It'd be better if the missile mechanisms could be removed, but it looks like the triggers are the entire length of the hand, making that impossible.

Still. If you don't take this as Transformers: The Movie remade live, and rather take it as an alien invasion movie where the aliens choose to pose as vehicles instead of humans, then it fits perfecly. And I absolutely love that Optimus.

also if you look at the screw size this guy must be about as big as Crumplezone so if you also asume he has a Air force colours this guy is going to be one mean lookin sob

but i'd of liked somthing more like prime and the others with very human body styles but i cant Starscream since this is ok aswell

also if you look at the screw size this guy must be about as big as Crumplezone

plus, the chain missile launchers must be at least the same size as the one that came with BW Rampage.

My God! That which I have feared about this movie has come to pass. I guess that's "realism" for you. Out of all of the things to worry about for this movie, the robot designs were only one that was of real concern.

:tdown Sorry But Starscream looks like CRAP! Wassup with his chicken legs? He looks like a mutated Gremlin slash robot! Boo on Bay's designers :tfsad
