first off that prime is just plain Powerglideing weird, of course i was expecting it becuse of the robot mode bumlebee pic posted earlyer. I can hoestly say that i LOVE scorpinock, even if he has a screwed up looking robot mode that alt mode is a thing of pure loveing evil.

the only real let down is screamer, he at least needs the basic shape of g1 screamers head, that and looking at the placement of his arms, they arent going to be the most stable things in the world. That's for damn sure, at least they left his canopy in his chest so we have a small clue that its a screamer. Oh well the mp03 starscream will keep the g1 fanboy in me plenty happy. (no matter how much of a stinker that toy turns out to be)

Here is another thought this movie has rachet and ironhide in it. I wonder if those toys are going to be g1 accurate, and go headless. i say this becuse at this point. I dont think I can be supprised by weirdness of anything i see from the movie toy line

very cool

WOW! BIONICLE: THE MOVIE????? When's this coming out????

All I can say is that nothing really conjures up anything "Transformer-ish" to me except certain things about Prime.

The rest all look like they all are some sort of un-holy union of Zoids/Gunhed/Bionicle love-child. I know they said that the blocky designs of yesteryear would be ousted in favor of more realistic forms, but a little more shell-age and a lil' less skeleton-esque would've been kinda nice.

Seeing Starscream's got me dreading the rest of the other characters. This makes me flashback to when Tristar's Godzilla pics leaked online.

Of course I'll still hold out on a full opinion until I see the flick, but these designs do not warm thine cockles.....

:drool Such amazing detail!

My only niggle would be that their complexity may put kids off them. But then again, screw kids! :P

i wasn't planning on posting past my original, but... if i wanted to see humanoid mecha designs that just happens to transform, i'd watch *insert random mecha anime name here*, and if i wanted humanoid mecha toys i'd buy *insert random mecha anime name here* toys. gimme a/e/c anyday over this crap :tdown

That was my first thought after seeing these pics. They look like the offspring of bionicle and spawn interlink.

I may be one of the few that doesn't like the blackout proto, but half of the chopper attached to his back is a little too much kibble for me. I'm assuming that it won't stand up without the tail touching the ground. It looks like close to 1/3 of the toys weight is attached to his back.

More power to the fans that like these designs but I'll pass.

Actually, there is nothing realistic about them "if" those bot modes are accurate. It's been said before but there are not enough alt mode parts to transform into anything. The "blocky" toon designs also gave them a more armored appearance. These guys look like they could be damaged easily.

Well, I for one like the "Starscream" design. If thats what he is called in the movie, then so be it, I shall be pleased. All he really needs is the personality and BOOM, its Starscream. One would think after 20 years a line would be able to grow and mature... I think it has, and its done so without looking like crap, but of absolute pure awesomeness.

Bad ass designs. Really freaking Nice.

Came out and it has two sequels. They ain't too bad, rent them when you have the chance.

Also the designs are win for me right now. I just want to see jazz and BB.

I'm in. Let's do it.
