Movie Toy pictures

I wonder how long (or short) it will be until these go on clearance.

Now I understand why they're trying to keep underthing underwraps so much...They want to try build the hype like SoaP. I wonder if they'll let the movie be screened or not.

Are you friggin' kidding me? You're already talking about these going on clearance when they are months and months from even being released? Geebus. Some hobbies just aren't affordable I guess.

Movie toys last how long usually on shelves? (Don't count SW).

You've got a point. Then again, movie toys aren't usually for movies that already have a mainstream toyline going either. Fantastic Four, for instance, didn't have a huge line of merchandise on the shelves before the movie. I'd call that a big difference.

Why not?

SW gets a pass, they've managed to become the ultimate exception and their fans will kill us with their force/darkside thoughts.

Big news update guys! Transformers Movie toy protos for Blackout, Starscream, and Scorponok, as well as final movie designs for Optimus Prime and Blackout. Pics from TFW2005- if better pictures without the watermarks become available, I'll switch them out.

Actually- yes. I thought I really hit the jackpot. I did last night with the movie shot of Bumblebee, not that there's any record of that now or anything. Should have been satisfied and walked out- the George Costanza way.

On top of that, how many other comic/toy movies are coming out that same summer? They're all gonna have their toys to go along with their movies too.

I can't see store making a whole bunch of space for TF movie toys when they'll have all their other tf toys too.

Your post was merged with the other... Also please dont repost TFW's pics. They asked us not to and I agree with them that its not okay to do that without permission. Thanks!

To Begin:

They are ALL aliens. These are the most alien-like TF's I've ever seen, even more than Beast Machines.. And the decepticons have kept that ideal.

What's more, and I figure I don't need to tell you this, but these are quite well engineered toys for what they are.

If you look there, you'll see 25 points of articulation, with the possibility of a 26th in the waist. That's pretty good, considering this thing will have to have incredibly tight joints in the legs to stand up. Also, all 3 claws on each hand open up... which is just an awesome visual. It'd be better if the missile mechanisms could be removed, but it looks like the triggers are the entire length of the hand, making that impossible.

Still. If you don't take this as Transformers: The Movie remade live, and rather take it as an alien invasion movie where the aliens choose to pose as vehicles instead of humans, then it fits perfecly. And I absolutely love that Optimus.

I wonder how long (or short) it will be until these go on clearance.

I'm pretty sure Hasbro mentioned every other TF line (Classics, Alts.) would be gone to give focus to the movie line.

Am I wrong about that?
