Too bad desert camo is the order of the day.   I'd prefer him in bare metal or dark green camouflage.

Oh absolutely. It is amazing how they can actually sort of get things right sometimes, but not quite.

 

This would sell like hotcakes if they used that color-scheme. I pretty much doubt the kiddies care whether it is in realistic desert camo or our much beloved gray. Collectors would much prefer the gray, so why not make everyone happy (and sell a bunch of toys in the process)?

 

I especially love how they got the gun barrel to be positioned like the cartoon Megs. That is one nice little feature that makes that design awesome.

Since the Classics Grimlock color chart surfaced within a day or so of this guy, I'm wondering if these are both from the same source and that this tank Megs was intended to be part of the Classics line.

Well as much as I've been an advocate of gun Megs in the TF Classics line, I have to say that if they can make a tank Megs that looks that G1-ish, then I'd say go for it.
