Alternator Megatron????

Recommended Posts

well, the design of the arms and the legs seem closer to that of Alternators than the classics. they're more detailed with better articulation.

I agree with this but it also looks like MP to me too.

Going by MP Starscream's design sketches I'd say this was a pretty weak-ass MP Megatron sketch. even by Alt standards it's weak.

I'll agree with the MP statement as it doesn't look nearly detailed enough....but for an Alt. this would be the first Alt. I was impressed with in a LOOOOONG time.

That's essentially what made me think it might not be an Alt.

It's a pretty simple transformation.  And I've noticed with the Alt line that there is a bit of a tendancy to make it a little more complicated than it probably needs to be.

I mean the drawing itself.

I wish Hasbro people poked their heads in our forums and gave answers like Micheal Bay and the movie folks do. At SDCC, can some one ask who the hell this Megs is or do we have to wait till BotCon. They'll probably just lie but I'd at least like to hear, "Oh that Megatron was cancelled." or "That's a fan creation" Or *wishful thinking*" We cant comment on that right now but keep a look out"

I dont think we have seen any Color Charts for MPs or Alts/BTs have we?

I mean design sketches are by definition going to pay attention to different details than color charts... saying that this sketch doesnt have enough detail to be MP/Alt is a little like saying that MP3-designs suck cause starscream should  not be in black and white

only because Alts have to incorporize an inner cab. i doubt that a tank alt would have to worry about this since it's a completely different vehicle.

But where then would the little plastic girl commando be able to sit if Tommy makes one?
