Been there and done both.  If I had the opportunity I would go back to either in a heartbeat.  Try raising a family and payin' all the bills on time, while maintaining a collection.  I think my wife tolerates my collection, because she knows what it means to me.  She pokes fun at from time to time.

The hardest part is my children and their friends wanting to play with them.  Sometimes I buy doubles and give one to my 7 yo son.  Even my 6 yo daughter plays, but she prefers E-Arcee and other female TFs.

my birthday was on the 28th of march and she comes over with a present and i rip off the wrapping and lo and behold its a cybertron galvy! i was happier than a pig in Blot. my gf at least accepts my collection while my ex attempted to always throw them out the window. she has another one at home that she has yet to give me. on top of that on my birthday i got money from my grandma and went and found a cybertron scourge with the key ripped from the box. i convinced the store to sell it to me for 30% off while my gf insisted that she would go find a decent one...i dont think scourge is still on the shelves. so now all i need is to snag a wreckloose or brimstone and ill have a damn cyber key. thank you random vandal. (i was 2.00 short of the reduced price which my gf gladly paid) :)

transmutate, that is the greatest avatar i have ever seen!  anywho, girls that usually see my collection don't think too much of it.  they've already seen my friend's star wars collection, so mine is nothing.  though, i do tend to get more comments on my ninja turtles.  i guess they were more popular with the girls back in the day, i can't blame 'em cause that was a great toon also!

Man i love being a woman! Starscreams my man and my baby, everytime TFC is on he watches it with me, yes i know i need a bf but i don't want one and the one i want told me to F**k Off, sooooooooooo i perfer to have my Starscream Baby, he even holds my barcelets for me. :) Hes a good necklace holder too.
