"So Roddie you think you`ve got the hang of it?" "Yeah I`ve mastered all of the moves you taught me." "Well then see if you can beat the combat arts teacher from the academy-- Scavenger!" "Scavenger!?!" "Yes Rodimus me. And don`t expect me to go as easy on you as your dad did." "Yes sir." "Now come at me." "All right HEEE YAAAAAAHH!" WOOOOOSHH! SWISH! SWOOOOSH! BAM! KACHING! "YEOOOWW! How`d you do that Scavenger?" "Easy you telegragh your moves. I saw every move .2 seconds before you even made it." "You what!?! How!?!" "Simply put I watched you eyes. You need to focus on you opponent`s eyes in order to see where their next move will be but at the same time focus on making it so that they are unable to see where your move will go by only looking at their eyes. I'm not quite ready to write chapter 21. I still have some details to pound out with Rodimus. So if I don't get it done today, it'll be done probably either Monday morning/evening, or Tuesday.

Chapter 21

 

On Earth, a young boy named Rad fell into a hole.  The hole itself wasn't ground, but metal.  He looked around, and pressed a panal, that set off a signal.  Little did he know that in a few days, he would set off a course of events that would have a great impact upon the universe.

"Hmmm.  Oh.  Well, well.  This is interesting.  STARSCREAM! DEMOLISHOR! CYCLONUS! GET IN HERE!" Ordered Megatron

 

The three came in.

 

"What is it sir?" asked Demolishor.

 

Megatron grinned and said four names. "Leader-1.  Swindle.  Blackout.  Crumplezone.  They're waiting for us."

 

The three looked at each other, knowing what he meant, and started making preparations at once to leave.

Little did the Decepticons know that sombody was spying on them.  He was small enough that if he didn't have an Autobot logo, he would've probably been mistaken for a Mini-Con.

 

"Laserbeak to Optimus.  I have some ba-a-a-a-ad news.  In fact, it'll probably be better if I tell you in person."

 

"Okay Laserbeak.  If it's as bad as you make it sound, then hurry it up."

 

Laserbeak transformed into his bird mode and flew off.

"WHAT!" screamed Optimus.  "Megatron has found the Mini-Cons on Earth.  We've got to folow him.

 

Optimus Sr. put his hand on his son's shoulder.  "Calm down for a minute there son.  First of all, why don't you have Red alert, Hot Shot, and Laserbeak prep a shuttle to take you so you can follow him.  And while they're doing that, I think we should let Primus know of this development."

 

Optimus looked up at his dad.  "Right."  He then looked at Red alert and Hot Shot, the latter of the two who had Laserbeak on his shoulder.  "Well.  You heard my dad.  Get a shuttle prepped for leave to Earth."

 

The three responded in unison "YES, SIR!"

"HMMM. SO MEGATRON HAS FOUND THE MINI-CONS HAS HE.  THIS IS BAD.  HE CAN ROUND THEM UP QUICKER SINCE THEY'RE IN ONE PLACE.  I'LL LET YOU GO OPTIMUS.  BUT BEFORE YOU DO, THERE'S SOMETHING I SHOULD TELL YOU BOTH."

 

[flashback with Primus narrating]

 

LONG AGO, WHEN I WAS STILL ABLE TO DO MORE THAN I CAN NOW, I CREATED TWO SPECIAL ENTITIES TO GO AND FIND SPECIAL ARTIFACTS TO HELP IN MY BATTLE AGAINST SOLARITON.  THEY'RE THE ONES WHO FOUND THE VECTOR SIGMA COMPUTER.  WHEN SOLARITRON ATTACKED, I USED THE POWER OF VECTOR SIGMA AND DEFEATED HIM.  A RESULT THOUGH WAS I BECAME STUCK IN PLANET MODE.  SO WHEN UNICRON ATTACKED, I TRIED TO ACTIVATE THE VECTOR SIGMA COMPUTER A SECOND TIME.  BUT AN UNEXPECTED RESULT, WAS THAT IT WOUND UP CREATING A MASTER MATRIX, AND TWELVE SUB-MATRIXES, ONE OF WHICH YOU HOLD OPTIMUS JR.  AND RODIMUS HOLDS THE MATRIX OF THE INFERNO.  THERE WERE DIFFERENT PRIMES.  THERE WAS NITRO PRIME, WHO HELD THE MATRIX OF SPEED.  SENTINAL HELD THE MATRIX OF COURAGE.  PRIMA HELD THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP.  ONE CALLED FIRE PRIME HELD THE MATRIX OF THE INFERNO.  VECTOR PRIME HELD THE MATRIX OF WISDOM.  ALPHA PRIME HELD THE MATRIX OF CREATION.  LIFE PRIME HELD THE MATRIX OF LIFE.  AND MACCADDAM HELD THE MATRIX OF TIME.  BUT SOME OF THE OTHER MATRIXES HAD UNIQUE EFFECTS UPON THEIR BEARERS.  AS WE ALL KNOW, EVERY LIVING THING IN THE UNIVERSE HAS A DARK SIDE.  APPARENTLY THE VECTOR SIGMA COMPUTER DID TOO.  THE FALLEN HELD A MATRIX DEDICATED TO BETRAYAL.  LIEGE MAXIMO HELD WHAT IS NOW KNOWN AS THE DECEPTICON MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP.  NEMISIS PRIME HELD THE DEAD MATRIX, AND DESTRUCTICON MAXIMUS HELD THE MATRIX OF DESTRUCTION.  AFTER THE BATTLE WHERE UNICRON AND THE FALLEN WERE SUCKED INTO THE BLACK HOLE, MULTIPLE THINGS HAPPENED."

"NITRO WANTED TO EXPLORE THE GALAXY, SO HE LEFT TO DO JUST THAT.  FIRE PRIME WENT INTO A SELF IMPOSED EXHILE.  DURING THE BATTLE, UNICRON HAD TAINTED HIS SYSTEM, AND HE FEARED WHAT HE MIGHT DO SHOULD IT COMPLETELY TAKE CONTROL.  LIFE PRIME WANTED TO GO AND HELP THOSE IN NEED IN THE UNIVERSE.  PRIMA HAD BEEN KILLED IN IN THE BATTLE, SO SENTINAL WAS NEXT IN LINE FOR THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP.  THE MATRIX OF COURAGE WAS STORED, AND I'M NOT SURE WHAT'S HAPPENED TO IT.  VECTOR PRIME HAD MANY WOUNDS TO HEAL, SO I TOLD HIM TO GO AND REST, UNTIL HE WAS NEEDED AGAIN.  HE'S RESTING AS WE SPEAK.  BUT HE'S ALL HEALED, BUT HE'S JUST WAITING FOR MY CALL.  YOU KNOW ALPHA PRIME.  HE BECAME A3, WHO THEN BECAME...ALPHA TRION.  NOW YOU HOLD THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP OPTIMUS."

" AS FOR THE "NEGITIVE" MATRIXES, LIEGE MAXIMO USED HIS TO CREATE THE DECEPTICONS.  THE FALLEN TOOK HIS WITH HIM WHEN HE WAS SUCKED INTO THE BLACK HOLE.  DURING THE DARK AGES OF THE GREAT WAR, IT SOMEHOW GOT LOST ON CYBERTRON.  EVEN I CAN'T DETECT ITS PRESENCE.  THE MATRIX OF POWER LEFT CYBERTRON WITH NEMISIS PRIME, BUT HE'S BEEN IN AND OUT OF MY SNESORS OF MY "CHILDREN".  DESTRUCTICON MAXIMUS...AFTER THE BATTLE, I'M NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM.  HE JUST SEEMED TO DISAPPEAR."

[end of flashback]

"Wow.  I didn't know.  Why didn't the Matrix tell me when I held it after Sentinal?" Prime asked.

 

"IT ONLY SENSES WHO HELD IT.  AND IT ONLY.  IF WE HAD THE MASTER MATRIX, WE COULD ROUND UP THE OTHER MATRIX.  AND WE NEED TO.  FOR WHEN MACCADDAM WAS KILLED IN THE EXPLOSION AT THE BAR, THE MATRIX OF TIME HAS STARTED TO BECOME UNSTABLE.  IT WON'T HAVE ANY DIRE EFFECT IN THE NEAR FUTURE, BUT STILL, WE NEED TO FIND THE MASTER MATRIX, SO IT'S BEARER CAN ROUND UP THE OTHERS."

 

"Right.  Okay.  So should I go to Earth or what.  We still have Megatron to deal with you know." Optimus said.

 

Optimus turned to his son.  "Go.  I'll find Rodimus and try and get him to help me.  I'll go and round up the other Primes, and any current Matrix bearers.  When we've rounded them all up, I'll call you, and then you can come, and we can fix it."

 

Optimus started to leave to go to the shuttle.  Before he exited the chamber, he turned around and said "Thanks dad.  See ya'."

 

End of Chapter 21

Wow. My head hurts. Too many matrixes. I think Vector Sigma went a little overboard with the whole Matrix concept. How the HECK do you keep track of so many Matrixes and their barers? And how big is the master matrix compared to the other matrixes? I wonder if they merge together to form one mighty matrix of infinite power? kudos all the same! :thumb

Actually the master matrix is the same size as the others but that will come into play a little later in the story. :tfgrin
