Chapter 33

 

Optimus was in his quarters aboard Destructimus Maximus. He was still trying to figure out why Galvatron looked mismatched the way he did. He thought that maybe if he just rested, it would come to him in time.

 

*DREAM WORLD*

 

“What is this power and where is it from? AEAGHH!�

 

Optimus looked around him. He seemed to be underground, but nowhere he recognized. He then saw a fight going on. There was an Autobot that looked like Hot Rod, a blue police car, and a white, green, and red SUV. They seemed to be fleeing the battle, followed by Transformers that looked a lot like the Combaticons, which were following a shark that was shooting missiles from it’s mouth. He then looked up. He saw two figures fighting. One was clearly the leader of shark Transformer. He then heard the other one. “Megatron. This place is coming apart!�

 

Prime was amazed. It wasn’t Megatron. And it definitely wasn’t his son. The red Transformer turned, and Prime lost all his color. It looked like a cross between him and his son. Then the Megatron said “Enough Optimus Prime. Let go of me.�

 

The battle proceeded to the surface. Then Optimus Prime looked up. “Ultra Magnus. Ready when you are!� A taller blue and gray Autobot said “Right Optimus.�

 

They merged to form a combination of the two, called Omega Prime. They defeated Megatron and left.

 

Then Prime went down below the surface, and saw a toad, a squirrel, and a skunk having their energy drained from their bodies. All of a sudden, the rubble moved and shifted, and something rose. “I’m alive. I’m back. Fear me as never before. I am Galvatron!�

 

Then Prime seemed to leave this realm. Entirely.

Prime woke up. “What was that? Was that, another reality altogether?�

 

Then he decided to contact Primus.

 

“Primus. I know you saw that. What was it? I want to know.�

 

“PRIME. THAT WAS ANOTHER DIMENSION. THERE YOU HAVE BEEN ON EARTH FOR YEARS, MAKING YOUR PRESENCE COMPLETELY SECRET. YOUR TEAM CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING SUB-TEAMS. THE AUTOBOT BROTHERS, CALLED X-BRAWN, PROWL, AND SIDEBURN. TEAM BULLET TRAIN, CONTAINING RAIL SPIKE, RAPID RUN, AND MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, WHO COMBINE TO FORM RAIL RACER. THERE’S THE SPYCHANGERS, CONSISTING OF HOT SHOT, R.E.V., CROSSWISE, W.A.R.S., IRONHIDE, AND MIRAGE. THE BUILD TEAM. THAT TEAM CONTAINS WEDGE, HEAVY LOAD, HIGHTOWER, AND GRIMLOCK. THEY COMBINE TO FORM LANDFILL. THEN YOU HAVE A BROTHER IN THAT REALM. HIS NAME IS ULTRA MAGNUS. YOU’RE ABLE TO COMBINE WITH HIM TO FORM OMEGA PRIME. YOUR TWO OTHER WARRIORS INCLUDE SKID-Z AND TOW-LINE. THE ENEMIES ARE NOT THE DECEPTICONS, BUT THE PREDACONS. THE DECEPTICONS CAME LATER INTO THE SHOW. THERE’S MEGATRON, SKY-BYTE, SLAPPER, GAS SKUNK, AND DARK SCREAM. THEN WHEN A FALLEN AUTOBOT SHUTTLE IS DISCOVERED, THE PREDACONS TAKE THE STASIS PODS, AND CREATE THE DECEPTICONS. FIVE ARE THE COMBATICONS OF THAT DIMENSION, HOWEVER, THE SIXTH ONE IS UNIQUE. HE’S MADE OF MEGATRON’S EVIL AND YOUR GOODNESS. HIS NAME IS SCOURGE. HE THEN PROCEEDS TO TRY AND CONTROL FORTRESS MAXIMUS. THAT IS WHAT YOU SAW. I KNOW YOU’RE TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY GALVATRON LOOKED THE WAY HE DID AT FIRST. HE’S BEEN CHOSEN, BUT WHEN IT FIRST CHOSE HIM, IT DID THE SAME THING THAT THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP DID TO YOUR SON, EXCEPT IN THE PHYSICAL REALM, INSTEAD OF THE ASTRAL. HE HAD PARTS OF THE PREDACON MEGATRON, THE OTHER DIMENSION’S MEGATRON. HIS SON’S CURRENT AND FUTURE FORMS, AND HIS PREVIOUS FORMS AS WELL. I WILL NOT REVEAL MORE TO YOU SHOULD YOU ASK. TOO MUCH WILL BE DANGEROUS. I TRUST YOU’LL KEEP THIS IN CONFIDENCE.�

 

“Wow. Okay Primus. I understand.� Prime said. All of a sudden, there was a knock on his door. “Come on in.� Prime said.

 

Life Prime came in. “Optimus, something’s bugging me. What I saw out there just didn’t sit well with my logic circuits. I’m usually the cautious type, but Nitro’s trying to find out from Primus. Speaking of Nitro, he’s trying to speed up the journey.�

 

Prime couldn’t reveal what Primus had told him, but he could deal with Nitro. He rolled his optics. “Gotcha.�

 

“Nitro. Don’t do anything stupid. It’s a two-day journey. End of story. And if I catch you doing any modifications to Destructimus Maximus, in any way shape or form, you’ll be in trouble.�

 

Nitro backed off.

Galvatron was traveling in his two-person shuttle, even though nobody else was with him. The reason for this, is that when he left from where he was going, he wouldn’t be leaving alone, but with one other person.

Chapter 34

 

"Optimus what`s wrong?" "Hmm? Oh it`s you Rodimus. It`s just that this is where Ironhide`s shuttle to earthwas attacked back in2005." "You can`t keep blaming yourself for that Optimus. You had no way of knowing that Megatron would attack the ship much less that he would attack eath rather than out moon bases." "No? Well it was my responsibility to make sure that my troops were safe. I sent him off on a mission and he died now his son will never get to know how great of a bot he was." Umm Optimus what is that glowing orb out there? Is it what I think it is?" "Yes it is a spark. But who`s?" "We`ll know in just a few minutes."

"Hmm now I have the Matrix of Betrayal but noone to bear it. Perhaps I could hmm yes. Maybe Starscream, or Octane, or maybe Scorpinok. I suppose I`ll have to decide when I get to Cybertron." And with that he pushed the throttle up on his craft and zoomed off toward Cybertron.

"Well now Arcee now that you`ve mastered the ability to make weapons from energon. We`re going to start training on making something that the Autobots of the future will need even more Energon Stars." "Energon Stars?" "Yes it is refined energon in a form that the Autobots can use to "power up"." "Ok I`ll try....There so what do you think Alpha Prime?" "Hmm well it`s a little rough around the edges but it`s a good first try. just keep practicing." "Okay."

Back onboard Destructimus Maximus. The Autobots had placed the spark within a temporary conciosness unit to find out if they were getting ready to revive was friend or foe. Boy did they have a surprise coming to them. "Hello, hello what`s going on? Who`s out there?" "I`m Optimus Prime the leader of the Autobots. Who are you?" "Optimus? Can`t you tell who it is?" "Hmm the voice sounds familiar. But I can`t quite place it." "Optimus it`s me Ironhide!" "Ironhide!?! How is that even possible?" "I don`t know last thing I know Megatron was stealing the ship and...and...and NO! He shot me in the head! Am I dead!?!" "No Ironhide you are still very much alive but you have no body right now. Now that we know who we have I`ll try and find you a body." "Optimus may I interupt?" "Who`s that Optimus?" "Ah yes you were out here for the last 10 years this is Rodimus Prime." "I used to be Hotrod." "Hotrod your a Prime!?!" "Yep. Also I know where we can get a body for you." "Really where?" "The Binaltech project on earth is still working on new possibilities for us so if our soldiers are extreamely damaged in battle. If I remember correctly they have an extra body for Ratchet that could be customized for you Ironhide." "Really? Thanks." "Rodimus how will they get it to us way out here?" "A space bridge that they`ve been working on to stretch much further than ours stretch." "Why would they want to do that?" "When I asked them they said that humans desire more than anything to explore the universe and discover the answers to it`s many misteries." "Interesting. Well Rodimus I want you to have Ironhide`s new body sent here ASAP." "Right Optimus." A few minutes later in Rodimus` family quarters Rodimus contacts Spike on earth."Spike, Spike do you read me?" "Well sure I read you Rodimus we are talking on the largest network of vid terminals on the known universe." "Good well we`ve found an old friend but he has a really big problem." "Really who is an what is thier problem." "Well it`s Ironhide and he needs a body." "Ironhide? No way we all thought he died years ago! We have an extra Escalade body here for Ratchet should we customize that into a new body for Ironhide or build him a new one?" "Just customize the one you have for street use since he isn`t an ambulance." "Okay Rodimus I`ll have my team get started on it right away." "Thank you Spike. Rodimus out." "Umm dad I was wondering if everything was alright." "Yeah Roddy I`m fine why? What did I do when Unicron was controling me?" " Well dad you attacked me and tried to turn me into one of Unicron`s slaves." "I`m sorry son I don`t know how he got control of me but I`m back in control now."

"SIDEWAYS!" "Yes Unicron?" "I WANT THOSE MINICONS COLLECTED QUIKLY. I NEED REPAIRS AND ONLY 2 THINGS CAN HELP ME. THOSE ARE MINICONS AND ENERGON I WILL NEED BOTH." "Yes Unicron as you command. Everything is going well here on earth and the minicons should be collected wery shortly." "EXCELENT SEE TO IT THAT THEY ARE COLLECTED VERY, AND I DO MEAN SHORTLY. UNDERSTOOD?" "Yes Unicron."

Chapter 35

 

“Okay. Let’s get this thing to Optimus. Magnus, thanks for staying to help us out here. We’ve got some others to do, some Dodge Vipers for Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, a nicer looking Jeep for Hound, and if Wheeljack wants to, we can put him into a Ford Mustang. Oh, and a Mazda RX8 for Jazz, and some Suburu Imprezas for Bluestreak and Smokescreen. I think it was nice of the EDC to take up the Binaltech project. Now, if we could get Volkswagen to give us a frame for Bumblebee.� Spike said.

 

Spike and Magnus were overseeing the preparation of the Escalade body to let it be delivered to Optimus Prime who had Ironhide’s spark. They were originally going to give it to Ratchet. Part of the Binaltech project was to give some of the Great War veterans some newer alternate modes.

 

“No problem Spike. Besides, somebody had to stay here on Earth if the Decepticons came back. I think it was nice of the Targetmasters, Wreckers, and some of the soldiers to stay here too.�

 

Spike sighed. The Binaltech project was a little time consuming and just physically exhausting. He hadn’t really had any time for Carly or Daniel since it started. And Carly was expecting their second baby soon.

 

Magnus got Spike’s attention. They were ready to send the frame for Ironhide.

 

“Launch it.� Spike ordered. The newly developed “Super� space bridge activated. Now it was in the hands of the engineers to guide it to safety.

Galvatron was wondering. Should he use one of his former warriors, or use a different resolve for this little dilemma. He knew where to find the Fallen, roughly, but he thought that reviving him would be worse than reviving….He then realized who it should be. Galvatron chuckled to himself. “How could I have been so blind? The answer is so obvious.�

 

He changed course on his shuttle towards Cybertron.

“Okay. Now that we’ve got the body, we just need to wait for the Escalade frame to come to us.� Optimus said.

 

It had been pretty quiet lately, so they had been working on bringing back Ironhide. Everything was set, they just needed the Escalade to finish the project.

 

All of a sudden, an alarm went off. Something was approaching the ship. Optimus had a good idea what it was, but just in case, he had them prep things for battle.

 

“This is the EDC representative for the Binaltech project. Prime, do you read me. We have the Escalade body you requested with the modifications that you specified. May we dock?�

 

“Yes you may EDC rep.� Prime answered back.

“AHHHH. It’s nice to be back. This new body isn’t bad either Optimus. Now where are those got danged Decepticons at. I want to get Megatron for what he did to me.� Ironhide said.

 

Optimus chuckled. “Easy old friend. In due time. Besides, you need to get used to your new body. While you do that, we’ll keep requests of you to a minimum. Hope you don’t mi-“

 

Ironhide growled. “Darn it Optimus. I want to slag some Decepticon metal right now.�

 

Cliffjumper walked in. He saw his buddy Ironhide. “Well. To be honest Optimus, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try and find some to go and bend some metal, or whatever. I’m kind of bored personally.�

 

Optimus rolled his optics. It was going to be along ride to find the other Primes.
