Rodimus VTS and myself have been thinking about doing a cross-over story, and we've worked out some details of it, so here it is.

 

Chapter 1

 

"But daddy, I don't want to go. I want to stay here on Earth with you and mommy." said little Rodimus. His dad was sending him to the academy on Cybertron where Optimus Prime's son went. His old friend Scavenger taught there, and he thought that it would be a good idea for his son to learn some militaristic skills.

 

"Sorry kiddo. But you're mom and I talked, and we agreed that this was a good idea. We're also sending Arcee to Cybertron with you. But she'll be going to a special school set up by the Omnibots, where she can learn to fine tune her Energon manipulation skills for the betterment of Cybertronian civlization. You won't be alone. You'll even be allowed to live off campus. You'll be staying with Uncle Kup. And I know that you like his war stories. And a friend of mine will be there too. He taught me you know. His name is Scavenger. He's pretty cool. And Arcee will stay with you and Kup on the two days that you don't have classes. Saturdiode and Sundisk."

 

"But I want to stay here on Earth with you, mommy, Unca Magnus, Spike, and his family. Please. I really don't want to go." said little Roddy.

 

Before Rodimus could answer, Arcee came up behind him and said, "Now Rodimus, don't you want to be big and strong like daddy. It doesn't just come from expierencing battles. It also comes from learning. How do you think he got to be so smart. He went to the academy at home. And Uncle Kup has a room all set up for you at his home. Now, he's willing to let you stay with him, and I think that it would be nice of you to see him. He's getting older, so keep in mind, that he'll need some help now and then."

 

Rodimus Jr. saw what his mom was saying, and realized that he did indeed want to be strong like his father. "Okay, mommy. I'll go."

A little while later, a shuttle was getting ready to leave for Cybertron. The loading drones had it all loaded and fueled up. Now all it needed was its passengers and it could leave.

 

"By mommy. I'll be good for the Omnibots. I can't wait to start class." said little Arcee. She was really anxious about going to learn how to control her Energon manipulation skills. And she knew that Roddy was a little anxious too, but not in the good fashion. He was anxious about leaving home.

 

"Be good, and when you see your brother on the weekends, be nice, and try to remind him of why he's there if he seems like he isn't into it. Okay."

 

"Right mommy."

 

Rodimus was waiting to say goodbye to his daughter, he wouldn't see her again until Thankscycle. Which wasn't for a few months. He did try to talk to his son, but no such luck. He was still mad at his father for making him go. "Rodimus. Please. This is the last time for a while that we're going to see each other. I'm going to miss you. Won't you miss me. Even a little bit."

 

"I'm sorry daddy. I just don't want to go. I know that you're making me because you love me. And I love you too. I'll miss you too. A whole lot."

 

A smile crossed Rodimus' face. Finally, his son accepted that what was going on was for him, and not for Rodimus. He saw Arcee give the silent signal that it was time to switch kids for goodbyes, so he would now get a chance to say goodbye to his daughter, and she her son.

 

"Okay, young lady. Now, when you get to the starport, Kup will be there to meet you. He'll direct you to Camshaft, who'll take you to the school. Now behave, and most of all, have fun. Okay. I hear that Skyfire's nephew, what's his name, oh yes, Skyblast, is going to be there. So if you meet him, be nice. And Skyfire asked me to have you give something to him when you meet him. It's supposed to be a late activation day gift. He's supposed to be roughly your age now. Good luck, and be good."

 

"Okay daddy. I'll miss you." said Arcee

 

Rodimus looked over at his wife, who was hugging and kissing their son in a crazy fashion. He couldn't believe it. "Arcee. ARCEE! You'll see the kids in about a month and a half. Just chill. They need to get on board."

 

"Okay. Rodimus, have Uncle Kup call us when you get in. Okay." Arcee said to her son.

 

"Okay mommy."

 

They boarded the shuttle, and it took off.

 

"May the power of Primus and the Matrix protect our children." said Rodimus.

Yeah, well, I haven't seen any posts by Rodimus today, so he may contribute maybe tomorrow. I have a lot of work ahead of me with this being the month with only three weeks before midterms and the end of the first semester. So I may contribute, but before the 15, probably not as much. But I'm glad you like it so far.

Chapter 2

 

Later near Cybertron Cyclonus awaited the shutle from earth. As he had heard that Rodimus` children were on board and he wanted revenge for the death of his leader Galvatron. "So here it comes." sneared Cyclonus as he prepared to blast the shutle into a trillion pieces.

 

FOOOOOOOOM! KAAAAABOOOOOOOOOM!

 

"I wish mommy and daddy were here Roddy." Cried little Arcee. "I know look we`ll be fine you just get in you escape pod." "But I wanna go with you." "No Arcee it isn`t safe to have 2 passengers in an escape pod." "Ok Roddy." "Don`t worry I`m getting in that one right next to your`s." Just then Cyclonus came into the shutle to finish the job. "So that didn`t kill the 2 of you after all well maybe my shot will be a little more efective up close and personal!" "Oh no you don`t!" Yelled Rodimus as he activated his sister`s escape pod with out a second thought for his own safety after all like his dad always said "family comes first even before yourself." As the pod pulled away from the ship the vacuum of space pulled young Rodimus out of the shutle and hurdled him towards the gravity of Cybertron.

 

At that very moment in Cybertronian air command led by Silverbolt and the Arialbots. "We have a shutle crashing, an escape pod comming in and one poor soul who probably won`t make it he`s going down in the Decepticon region." "That poor young spark if I remember correctly those were Rodimus` kids on that shutle I hope they make it otherwise he`ll kill us." "Sir, the one in the pod is landing now but we`ve lost track of the other one." "No! Set up a search and rescue party we have to find him!" "Sir, at the speed he had to of been going when he hit there`s no way that he or anyone could survive." "I understand that but those wings on the boys back aren`t just for show you know. Look hope for the best we will find him hopefully alive."

 

A short while later in the Decepticon region "Hey Autobot what were you doing trying to fly?" Asked Landmine "Huh where am I? For that matter who am I?" "Hey how should I know? Your an Autobot and I`m a D`con. That`s the name of our junior Decepticon gang. We are led by the son of Galvatron his name is Megatron." "Megatron he sounds stong. Is he?" "Are you joking he`s the most powerful D`con of all. Here if your going to hang wit me you`re gonna have to cover that up." "What this symbol?" " Yah and quik someone`s coming!" "Ok." "Here`s a Decepticon logo just put it over it." "Sure thing." Later at the D`con gangs hangout, the old abandoned Decepticon headquarters that Megatron used when he was in control of cybertron. "Landmine who is this?" Megatron aske impatiently "He doesn`t know who he is. He fell from the sky." "You there you don`t know your

name and you don`t appear to have a flight mode so what were you doing "Falling form the sky"?" "I honestly don`t know who I am where I am or how I got here."

"Well first of all you`re on planet Cybertron. On he D`side of the planet any way. Let`s see if you don`t mind I think I`ll give you a little test. You win you can stay you lose well just try to win." "Alright what do you want me to do?" "You have to defeat Thrust in hand to hand combat." "Ok I`m new at this I think so go easy on me." "Sure of course will and with that he lunged at Rodimus with an intense atack." "I thought you were going to go easy." "And I thought you said you were new at this but you dodged that efortlessly." "That`s enough!" Yelled Megatron"I just wanted to see what you had so I could come up with a name for you. We`ll call you Dodge after all that`s what it says on what`s left of you grill. Speeking of which. Soundwave!" "Yes Megatron." "Since your father was my fathers chief technical officer you should be able to handle a quik repair right?" "Of course sir right away."

 

Back at the Cybertronian air command "Arcee don`t worry doll uncle Kup is here and my friends will find your brother in no time." "For reals unca Kup?" "For reals. Now I need to contact your folks they`ll have seen about iton the news by now but better to tell `em by vid phone." "Ok unca Kup I`ll be good." "Rodimus, you there?" "Kup how are they are the children ok? We heard about the accident on te news." "It was no accident Rodmus. Cyclonus was after the kids someone let the information out." "But it was classified so high up only a few bots acctually had access to the info." "I know that`s what worrys me but more importantly Roddy`s missing. When Cyclonus attacked he ejected Arcee`s pod and was sucked out and thrown toward Cybertron." "Well they should find him soon and since he knows how to use his wings he should be fine." "Your not worried!?!" "Well it`s not like he landed in D`con teritory right?" "Well actually that is exactly where they lost him on raidar." "No it ca`t be he`s not ready for that." "He`s your son Rodimus he`s resorcfull just like you." "Thanks Kup I needed that. Rodimus out."

Chapter 3

 

In the D'Con hideout, Megatron was going around making sure that everybody was doing their assignments, even the new kid. "Dodge, get over here. Now!"

 

Rodimus came over to him. "Yes sir"

 

Megatron glared at him. "Look. Soundwave's buddy Laserbeak reported that there's somebody snooping around near here. I want you and Landmine to go and check it out. And if they appear to be an Autobot, then scrap him, or give him a chance to reform to a D'Con. Got it?" he said adding a sinister grin.

 

"Yes sir." siad Rodimus. Then he realized that he didn't have a weapon. He obviously didn't need to tell this to Megatron, because he threw one at him. "Here. It's a flame missile launcher. It can attach to you for a little speed boost should you need it.

"Oh, Rodimus. What'll we do. Our little boy is lost somewhere in Decepticon controlled area. Worse yet, he's bound to have been found by those kids the D'Cons by now." Arcee said to her husband.

 

"Look. Arcee. As soon as Kup told me where they lost sight of him on radar, I made a call into Optimus. He and Elita have alerted Scavenger, and I haven't heard anything new. So my assumption is, knowing Scavenger as I do, is that he's going to take some of fellow teachers and some of his older students and form a search committee. Some of them include Optimus's son, Red alert's son, Springer's uncle, Bulkhead, and Blurr's son. I even heard that some of the younger students are going. Including Prowl's son, our nephew Hot Shot, Grapple's son Smokescreen, Skyfire's son, and Inferno's boy. I'm sure that they'll do fine. And they'll probably find him as well. I have faith in Optimus and Scavenger. So if you have faith in me, then allow me to double my faith in them. And Arcee is safe with Kup, and en route to the Omnibot's school. With Kup acting as a bodyguard. So don't worry. I'll contact Optimus very shortly if we don't hear anything soon. Okay?" he said looking into Arcee's optics.

 

She nodded after a few moments. "Okay."

"So Landmine. Why are you called that?" asked Rodimus.

 

"Well, I got the name because of where the D'cons found me, in a construction site. I was working out. They reformatted me so that I can implement it in both standard robot mode, and an cool thing which I've come to call Brute Mode. So anyway, I doubt that Dodge is your real name, can you remember anything from before I found you?"

 

They stopped for a minute. Rodimus just stared up into the night sky of Cybertron. He then had a vague flash of memory of something, like an explosion of some sorts. And a purple two-horned robot was there too in the memory. Nothing else was being recalled. He then heard the sound of something different, yet somehow familiar. It sounded like a race car. He then had another flash of memory of somebody that could transform into a race car, and dissappear. He then looked up, and saw a blue police car like race car. It braked and transformed. The robot had a blue and red sirent on his chest, his shoulders were big tires, his head had the exhaust pipes on the sides. He looked right at him. And then he started approaching him.

 

For some reason though, neither of the two young D'cons fired. Something seemed very familiar about this young Autobot.

 

"Rodimus. Wait till Scavenger hears that I've found you. And I can't believe that you're hanging around with a D'con. Well, let's get back to campus. I'm sure you're in need of a good recharge. By the way, we're bunkmates. My name's Prowl."

 

Rodimus had just stared. Unsure of what was going on, but the name Rodimus sounded familiar to him. He then did the only logical thing he could do. He ran. He ran away from Landmine and Prowl. Away from the D'cons. He ran past their base. And not too far from that he stopped. Unaware what was going on. He wasn't sure who he was, what faction he belonged to. Was he an Autobot or a D'con. Was his name really Rodimus, or was it something else. And why did he keep having these bursts of memory but not complete recalls. He just fell to his knees and wept.

Rodimus and I have been pming each other and he'll be writing Chapter 4 tomorrow, he says he has time to do so, and make it a fairly long. But not too long I hope. I hope you like my ending to Chapter 3 :thumb

Chapter 4

 

"Did you say that Scavenger is out here in Decepticon territory?" asked Landmine."Yeah why? What do you care?" "I care because he is my father." stated Landmine. "Your father? No way he`s an Autobot." "Now. He`s an Autobot he used to be a Decepticon in fact he was one of the parts of Devastator." "You`re kidding right?" "No but I wish I was. You see he defected to the Autobots before I was downloaded to my body. He doesn`t even know I exist." "Bot. That`s rough dude. Hey if you`re Scavenger`s son you can`t possibly be all bad. I`m Prowl and it`s nice to meet the son of the greatest teacher at the Autobot academy." "Thanks I think. You see I`m still a D`con and you`re an Autobot so were still enemies but I guess since Dodge is my friend I`ll work with you till we find him." "Ok first things first his name is not Dodge it is Rodimus. As in the son of Rodimus Prime. You meen the Rodimus Prime the guy who killed not only Solaritron but also Galvatron?" "Well yes." "Then we better hurry `cause if Megatron finds out he`ll have our friend killed for revenge." "But Galvatron was Megatron did he come back to life?" "No our leader is the son of Galvatron." "Enough talk let`s go find Rodimus." "Right." But unknown to Prowl and Landmine a Starscream`s son was hiding in the shadows listening to them "So the "transformer from the sky" is actually Rodimus Prime`s son. Wait till Megatron finds out." "Who`s there?" asked Landmine "It`s me Starscream you traitor. And you`ve given me some data that Megatron will find most interesting." "NOOOO!" and with that Landmine started firing at Starscream. "We have to go now!" yelled Prowl. "Alright we both need to turn off our locaters so we can`t be found by anyone." "Right that way the D`cons won`t find us. We don`t have to worry about Rodimus` his was damaged in the fall."

Else where Rodimus seaches his damaged memory files for any memory of his life he finds little bits and pieces but nothing complete. "Why can`t I remember!?!" BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! "What was that!?! It must be a fight maybe I should. No until I find out who I fight for I won`t fight at all."

Back at the D`con base Starscream makes his report."Megatron sir you won`t believe what I`ve found out." "Well what is it? Come on I don`t have time for this if it isn`t important." "Oh I think that you will think that it is important. Do you remember the new D`con you and Landmine recruited?" "Well yes spit it out you babbling idiot." "The new guy is not even a Decepticon he is Rodimus Jr. the son of the Rodimus Prime." "No revenge was in my grasp and I didn`t even know it. Find him now! Bring him to me so I can have my father`s revenge!"

"Scavenger now we`ve lost Prowl." "What did you say Optimus?" "We`ve lost Prowl." "Well then find them both!" "I need to go airborn. Jetfire you with me?" "Right." "Optimus""Jetfire" "combine!" "Alright you two be carefull we don`t want to loose you too." "Yes sir"

"What is that?"asked Rodimus to himself looking up at Optimus and Jetfire combined.

"Hey Jetfire there`s someone down there let`s go see who it is." As they got closer Optimus saw a group of D`cons approching another young transformer. "So you`re the son of Rodimus Prime aren`t you Dodge or should I call you Rodimus?" "Look like I told you I don`t remember anything. So leave me alone!" "I wish that I could as you seem to be a skilled warrior even though you don`t remember your own name. However your father killed my father so now I`ll kill you" proclaimed the young Megatron "You know I might not remember my name for sure but I do know how to use a gun so you`d better watch yourself." "No Rodimus you watch your self since it is you against me and my warriors." As the fight began Optimus swooped in and disconnected from Jetfire. Which made the D`cons take off since the numbers were even. The only problem was that Rodimus haden`t seen any of this because he was just firing with his optics disengaged. "Hey Rodimus stop firing." "Who are you?" "I`m Optimus and we are here to help." "Right look I`m outta here." And with that Rodimus ran off again.

A short while later "Hey odimus it`s you we`ve been looking for you all day." "Landmine? You`ve been sent by Megatron haven`t you!" "No he`s with me." replied Prowl it appears that our big friend here is Scavenger`s son." "His son well I think I met another one of his students but since I didn`t know him I took off." "Really? Who?" "I don`t know I think they where combined? Then they separated." "Sounds like Optimus and Jetfire they combine for Optimus to fly." "Well who ever they were I ran. Look I`m not ready to go with you Prowl or with you Landmine. You see I just don`t know who I am so until I figure it out I`m not goig to work with either side." "I think I can kind of understand Rodimus look it isn`t safe out here alone so I`ll come with you." said Prowl understandingly "I think I`ll come too after firing at Starscream I don`t think that Megatron will accept me back. So I don`t have any thing better to do and I can find out from our blue friend here what my dad is like." "And maybe you can tll me what I`m like too Prowl." "Ok Ok I`ll try to help both of you as much as I can but we need to get back to the academy." "I`m not sure about going there." said Landmine. "Why not Landmine?" "Well Prowl I am a D`con it`s not like I`ll be welcome at your little academy." "Actually I think these might help." and he pulled 2 Autobot emblems out. "I don`t need one of those."replied Rodimus as he removed the Decepticon logo." "Well that`s good here you go Landmine. Just remove your D`con logo and replace it with this your father is an autobot after all." "Ok here goes." as he removed the old logo and placed his new logo on he felt alittle uneasy about the whole thing but he knew that this was probably his only choice. "Now we need a name I think since your father is one of the leaders of the Autobots you should lead Rodimus. So you decide the name." But Prowl I don`t even know for sure if I`m who you think I am so how can I lead you guys if I don`t have any idea who I am or where we are going?" "I think that you`ll figure it out over time." "Alright look I`m still not sure about this but I think we should call ourselves the A-sqaud." "Ok that sounds pretty good to me."replied Landmine.

Very nice Rodimus. Now. I got work tonight, and I won't be home probably until 9ish, so hopefully then, I can get Chapter 5 up.
