"Optimus we`re coming up on a large energy signature." "Friend of Foe?" "Unknown it seems to be another spark." Optimus blanks out for a moment. "Hmm who are you?" "Optimus? It`s me Fortress Maximus." "But Solaritron smashed you and your spark 3yrs ago." "I guess my spark managed to pull it`s self back together." "Well we`ll see if we can find you a new body my friend." "Thank you Optimus." "Optimus? Optimus are you okay?" "Huh wha? Oh yes Rodimus I`m fine the spark out there belongs to Fortress Maximus." "Fortress Maximus!?! But he..." "Yes but his spark pulled it`s self back together. The only problem is we don`t have a containment unit large enough for a spark his size." "Well Optimus I do have a tractor beam." "Destructimus Maximus? Well I was wondering when we`d hear from you again." "Sorry for the silence Optimus I`m just kind of an actions not words kind of bot." "I understand. Now DM I want you to use your tractor beam and tow Fort Max`s spark with us. We should be able to find a new body for him soon enough." "Yes Optimus."

"Decepticons, this is Galvatron I want all available Decepticons to be prepared for my arrival. If Starscream is there I need to speek with him imediately on arrival." "Galvatron this is Motormaster. We`ll assemble your old army immediately. However Starscream is currently out of action. His body was destroyed by a mob of drunken Autobots about 6 weeks ago his brothers Skywarp, and Thundercracker were also destroyed however their sparks are currently unaccounted for." "I see well then assemble all troops available and set a team to get Starscream`s body ready for his spark and a new improvement." "Yes Galvatron sir."

"Optimus we`re approaching a small planet and...WHAT THE? The planet`s sattelite is shooting at us!" "No Bumblebee it isn`t shooting at us it`s shooting at Fort Max`s spark and it`s pulling him and us towards it." "Alright release his spark and follow him." "Yes Optimus." Replied Ironhide. Once Fort Max`s spark reached the sattelite there was a brite light and a large object in the shape of a matrix came out from the sattelite and drew Fort Max`s spark into itself and went back into the Sattelite. Then there was a bright light and the sattelite began to transform into Fort Max`s new form. "Fort Max that is a rather impressive new body you have there." "Thank you Optimus it is good to be back." "Well now all we need to do is find Galvatron and the Matrix of Betrayal and then convince them some how to join us."

 

Later on Ironhide went to talk to Rodimus. "Rodimus I remember hearing that I have the body that was meant for Ratchet. Did he get his new body as well?" " :tfgrin Yes Ironhide don`t worry the body you have was just a spair body they were working on for him. I`d like you to go tell Bumblebee and Warpath that Spike has new bodies that he`s working on for them aswell." "Really what is he using?" "Well Warpath`s was easy the US army repained one of thier new stealth tanks red for his new body. However since Volks Wagon is still completely against the idea of their new Beetle being used as a war machine Spike went and bought a new Beetle that he and his team are going to upgrade into a body for Bumblebee." "Cool I`ll tell them immediately"

Back on Cybertron. "Galvatron we`ve finished the upgades on Starscream as you asked sir." "Excelent now place a control unit within this." "Galvatron sir isn`t that the Autobot matrix?" "No this is a Decepticon Matrix- The Matrix of Betrayal which is why I want Starscream to have it. However I don`t want him betraying me so I`m having you place this control unit on it so he won`t betray me again." "Yes Galvatron." A short time later Starscream was coming to. "G-Galvatron? How? I thought you were killed when Rodimus cut you in half." * Check the end of the Rodimus Prime Story "Well I`m fine now and I want you to have this. The Matrix of Betrayal." "A matrix?!" "Yes and it is yours." "Thank you sir."

Chapter 37

 

“At last. Peace has returned to Cybertron for the time being. We’ve lost some friends along the way, but they’d be happy that we’ve dealt with the Decepticon threat.� Optimus said at a ceremony honoring the fallen in the battle against the Decepticons and Unicron.

 

After the ceremony, Scavenger talked to Optimus. “I’m going to head back to the academy, and Optimus, I haven’t heard anything regarding your…what was that?�

 

Optimus looked up and couldn’t believe his optics. “Galvatron. But Rodimus Prime destroyed you. I…my father told me. It’s impossible.�

 

Galvatron did not smile this time. This time he’d come with one goal in mind. “Ahh. Optimus Prime. You. You killed my son just weeks ago. Now I will take the one thing my adversary cherishes above all else. YOU!�

 

With that, he proceeded to just fire, not caring until he hit anybody else. As long as he got Optimus Prime, he’d be satisfied.

“Huh.� Optimus Prime sensed something was wrong on Cybertron. He turned to one of the many monitors and asked Destructimus Maximus to talk to him.

 

“What’s wrong Optimus?� he asked.

 

“How fast can you go Destructimus Maximus?�

 

And with that Destructimus Maximus and Fortress Maximus sped up and left for Cybertron.

Optimus was trying to deal with Galvatron. “Jetfire. Overload. We need to combine. NOW!�

 

Jetfire lowered his weapon. “Right Optimus.� He started running towards his leader.

 

Overload transformed into his combined mode, and waited.

 

Optimus turned his body into his original super mode upper half. And Jetfire became the legs. The three of them combined to form Super Battle Jet Prime.

 

But not that was even enough. Hot Shot gave the signal. He, Hoist, Red alert, Sideswipe, and Blurr aided their leader. And Scavenger joined in on the action as well.

 

But Galvatron just activated some weapon within him. Whatever it was, it blasted the Autobots all around the room, and even separated Optimus, Jetfire, and Overload.

 

Galvatron landed. He walked over to Optimus Prime. He picked him up by the throat, and then threw him.

 

Optimus looked up. Only to be staring at Galvatron’s barrel. He knew this was the end. All of a sudden, a sword came swinging down, and cut the cannon in half. He looked up and saw his dad.

 

“Primes. Call off.�

 

Rodimus landed. “RODIMUS PRIME!’

 

A speedy vehicle transformed. “NITRO PRIME!�

 

A rescue helicopter landed. “LIFE PRIME!�

 

An Autobot that hadn’t been seen for years landed. “FORTRESS MAXIMUS!�

 

Rodimus landed besides his father. “RODIMUS�

 

Destructimus transformed. “DESTRUCTIMUS MAXIMUS!�

 

All of a sudden, two other Autobots joined the fray. Optimus recognized them immediately. “Vector Prime. Alpha Prime.�

 

10 of the 12 were united. They just needed this rogue and his colleague.

"Ah Optimus Sr. so you`ve returned to Cybertron. What could you possibly accomplish by coming here? I made you retreat out in space what makes you think you`ll fair any better now?" "Well Galvatron I only retreated out there because you were needed inorder for us to save Cybertron." "Pffft. What makes you think I`d help you do anything?" "Because Galvatron even you must know the folly of ruling when there is nothing left to rule over." "And just what is that supposed to mean Optimus?" "Well Galvatron while your son was making his first strike on Iacon City your friend Starscream there killed the bar owner Maccadam. Who was once the bearer of the Matrix of Time. Now the Matrix of Time is going haywire it`s only a matter of time before everything and all time unravels. There will be nothing left of anything in the universe." "Hmm. So my associate here inadvertently heralded the end of everything. I`ll admit Optimus you`re right there is no point in fighting you right now if what you say is true and if I destroy you then we`ll all die. So I`ll wait until after we save the universe then I`ll kill you." "Umm right well I guess that`ll have to do for a truce for now."

 

Later deep within Cybertron. "SO OPTIMUS I SEE THAT YOU`VE MANAGED TO GATHER ALL OF THE OTHER PRIMES AND MATRIXES. EVEN THE MASTER MATRIX. WELL NOW THAT THE 12 OF YOU ARE TOGETHER ALL THAT MUST NOW BE DONE IS FOR THE 12 OF YOU TO OPEN YOUR MATRIXES AND USE THEM TO CALM THE MATRIX OF TIME. HOWEVER THERE ARE THOSE AMONG YOU WHO WILL NEED TO GIVE UP THE POWER OF THE MATRIX INORDER TO KEEP IT UNDER CONTROL." "Who Primus I mean aren`t the matrixes like part of us now?" "WELL NO RODIMUS ALTHOUGH THE MATRIXES SEEM TO BE PART OF YOU THEY ARE ACTUALLY TOOLS TO KEEP THE UNIVERSE IN BALANCE WHICH IS WHY ALTHOUGH THERE ARE FEWER DECEPTICON MATRIXES THEY ARE MORE POWERFUL THAT MOST OF THE AUTOBOT ONES. FOR INSTANCE THERE ARE ONES LIKE CREATION, LIFE, AND DESTRUCTION WHICH CANCEL EACH OTHER OUT THEN THERE ARE ONES LIKE INFERNO, AND BETRAYAL AN INFERNO IS POWERFUL BUT A BETRAYAL PROPERLY PLANNED CAN OVER THROW AN ENTIRE REGIME. NOW YOUNG RODIMUS YOU`VE ACTUALLY PURIFIED ONE OF THE DECEPTICON MATRIXES AND MADE IT INTO AN AUTOBOT ONE. YOU WILL HAVE TO GIVE IT UP SINCE JUST THE FACT THAT YOU HOLD IT COULD THROW THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE OUT OF WACK." "I think I understand Primus." "Look now this is all fine and good but as long as I keep the Decepticon Matrix of Leadership I don`t care who looses theirs let`s just save the universe so I can continue fighting Optimus." "Alright Galvatron, everyone let`s open our matrixes and save the universe." And to that everyone there answered "Agreed!" and a bright light engulfed them all it not only calmed the Matrix of Time but also removed the matrixes needed to contain the Matrix of Time. "EACH MATRIX THAT WAS REMOVED WAS REMOVED FOR A REASON. RODIMUS JR. YOUR MATRIX WILL KEEP POWER WITHIN THE MATRIX OF TIME UNTIL IT CAN FIND A BEARER. ALPHA PRIME YOUR`S WAS TAKEN TO KEEP THE MATRIX OF TIME FROM RECREATING THE UNIVERSE. DESTRUCTIMUS MAXIMUS YOUR`S WAS TAKEN TO KEEP THE DESTRUCTIVE FORCES OF THE MATRIX OF TIME AT BAY. THE REST OF YOU MAY KEEP YOUR MATRIXES SO LONG AS YOU WISH." "Well then I guess the time has come Optimus!" "You`ll have to go through us!" all of the other primes including Destructimus Maximus declared. "No, everyone stand down this is between me and Galvatron and it is high time we settle it once and for all." "FINE DO AS YOU LIKE JUST DO IT OUT SIDE I DON`T WANT ANY DAMAGE IN HERE!" "Fine Primus we`ll leave. Come on Optimus I really want to finish this!" "So do I! Optimus Jr you are now incharge of all of the Autobots and in my absence you will also take my place on the Autobot High Council as it`s head. Hopefully I`ll be back but if not just know that I love you my son. Good bye everyone." "Optimus you`ll never come back if I have anything to say about it!" "Well I`ve got to get back out there and save people who need life saving." "Bye Life Prime." "I`m headed back to Speedia the bots there need leadership." "Bye Nitro Prime." "Well everyone I just know that my sister is out there somewhere I should go find her." "Bye Roddy, my son." "Bye mom, dad, Optimus I`ll see you again some day." "Hey Roddy you`re not going any where without us are you?" "Prowl, Landmine of cource not I need my crew." "So Primus we`ve saved the universe. What`s next?" "ONLY TIME WILL TELL OPTIMUS JR. Chapter 39

 

“Bring it on Galvatron� Prime said.

 

They had entered a battle arena. Just to two of them. It wasn’t so much a battle arena as it was a pit. Very much like how it was when they fought as Optimus Prime and Megatron, when Megatron had used the powers of the other Decepticons thanks to the Constructicons’ machine.

 

But this time was different. This time they each had a Matrix. They were more powerful. They were equal.

 

They started circling each other. Then they started. It proceeded to be a battle of immense proportions.

 

Prime gave Galvatron a one-two sucker punch. Galvatron retaliated with a roundhouse kick to the abdomen and a knee to the chin. They kept exchanging blows.

 

Then they drew their weapons. Masterminicon wanted to help, but he knew the Cybertron laws of engagement. They proceeded to fire at each other. But there was a problem. After the smoke settled, neither was moving. They then slumped to the floor. They were both dead.

Optimus was wracked with grief. His dad was dead. Dead. He thought that it wasn’t possible. Just not possible. That meant that now he was in charge of Cybertron. But he wasn’t ready. He knew it. He needed help. So he went to the only person he could turn to.

“MOM! I NEED YOUR HELP!� Optimus yelled as soon as the door opened.

 

Elita-1 came through the hallway. “Optimus. What are you doing here? I thought you were on Earth. And where’s your…no. No. NO!�

 

She started to weep. Optimus held his mom tightly within his welcoming embrace. “I’m, I’m sorry mom. I need your help. Dad wanted me to be in charge, but I feel like I’m not ready to do what he did. I know I can lead an army, but I can’t lead a planet.�

 

Elita-1 looked up at her son. “Optimus. Didn’t he tell you?�

 

“Tell me what mom?�

 

“Oh Optimus. You don’t have to lead Cybertron. I’ll do that. He just wanted you to have a part in what goes on. Now, don’t you have a date with your girlfriend, what’s her name?�

 

“Mom. By some strange coincidence, it’s the same name that you had before you became Elita-1. Her name is Aerial. And you’re right. I do have a date with her tonight.�

 

Optimus went up to his room to get ready.

 

A few hours later, Aerial came to the door. And Optimus was ready.

 

After a few minutes of picture taking, they left for a romantic dinner and a night out.

After the dinner, they went to Optimus special hang out. Nobody knew of it except for him. It was late. And they were tired. They decided to go to sleep.

Chapter 40

 

At Optimus`s secret little hideaway. "Hey there sleepy head rise and shine." "Just a few more minutes mo... Aerial sorry I just didn`t realize oh man what time is it?" "It`s about 9:00 am." "Oh no! I`ve got to get to the counsel meeting!" "Hey I went and got breakfast the least you could do is eat it." "Oh sorry your right I`m just not used to all of this responsibility." "You`ll need to get used to some more responsibility soon." "You mean our data merged? You...your pregnant!?!" "I`m not really sure yet but yes I think so." "Well then we need to tell my mom. Not to meantion your parents. We`ll tell them all after the councel meeting this morning."

 

Later in the Iacon City Autobot High Councel Hall the meeting proceeded as normal. They discussed what was going to happen as a result of Optimus Sr`s death and how to best anounce to the world that their glorious leader was now dead. After the meeting. "Mom I...we have some news for you." "Well you didn`t come home last night so I can guess what happened you 2 networked right?" "Well yes ma`m but that isn`t what we came to..." His mother cut him off. "Aerial is pregnant!?!" "Well yes mother she is." "So I`m going to be a grandmother oh this is wonderful. Welcome to the family Aerial." "Thank you Elita-1." "Oh just call me Elita. So is it a boy or a girl?" "Well I`m not 100% sure but I feel that it`s a boy." "A boy how wonderful! So what are you going to name him?" "Well I need to go and...um...check in with Autobot comand I see you two have everything under control here." "See you later honey have fun with your little friends." "Good bye my love I`ll meet you at my parent`s house. I love you Oppy." "Hey guys what up? Oppy?" "Shut up Jetfire!" "Good bye Aerial. I love you."

At Autobot Central Command. "Alright everyone I want to know how things are going over in the D`con territory." "Well Optimus first of all they are mostly behaving them selves. All except for Tidalwave who without Galvatron is going nuts. Optimus is something wrong?" "What? Um no Jazz you were saying? Well Jazz you have kids right?" "Well yeah. There`s Jazz Jr., Speedy, and Lightning." "Well um how did you uh tell your wife`s parents?" "I just told them but hey what are you worried about you`re Optimus Prime." "Do you really think that`ll matter." "Look boss her father is Ironhide he knows you and where you`re coming from and he fought beside your father. So yes I`m sure it matters." "Well thankyou Jazz that`s very reassuring." "No prob boss."

Later that night at Aerial`s house. "Um well Ironhide sir." "Come now Optimus there`s no need to call me sir your father and I were like brothers. So we`re practically family." "You have no idea sir." "What does that mean?" "Well daddy I`m well I`m pregnant." "Hmm so my grandchild is also the grandchild of the great Optimus Prime. I can`t say that I`m entirely happy however I`m glad that if you are pregnant then your child is also the child of a bot who will stand beside you and take responsibility." "Thank you sir." "Hey Chromia our daughter is pregnant by Optimus Jr." Chromia drops the dishes she was bringing out. "You mean I`m going to be a grandmother? I`m too young to be a grandmother." "But hun it`s Optimus` son who`s the father." "So when`s the wedding day young Prime?" "W-Wedding?" "Well you two are getting married right?" "Y-Yes ma`m as soon as possible." "Fine then tomorrow it is." "How can you get a wedding together by tomorrow mother?" "I know some bots who know some bots and between us we can get anything done in a day or two." "Oh thanks mom." "You`re welcome Aerial. Hey it`s not everyday that you find out your daughter is pregnant by the future leader of the planet."

On Earth, Spike got a message from Cybertron. He was on his way to the recreation area to tell everybody.

 

Luckily for him, the Autobots in their new Binaltech bodies, Carly, Daniel, and Ultra Magnus were all there.

 

“Hey guys. Optimus is getting married to Aerial. The wedding is in a few days. And we’re all invited. The problem is, is that we can’t all leave. At least two of us have to stay here on Earth. The only one who can’t volunteer is Magnus. He’s Optimus’ uncle, so he’s got an obligation to be there for his nephew.�

 

Sunstreaker and Sideswipe opted to stay on Earth while the rest went to Cybertron.

Meanwhile on Cybertron, Chromia was talking with Firestar, Moonracer, Elita and Arcee about Wedding plans.

 

Elita said, “Well, I think we should let Jetfire be my son’s best bot. They’ve practically been friends since they were young. Chromia, who’s going to be the bride’s maids?�

 

“Well, Aerial’s been thinking of asking some of her friends if they’d be brides maids for the wedding. Now, who are we going to get to perform the ceremony?�

 

Firestar suggested Alpha Trion since he was now no longer a Prime. It probably wouldn’t feel as awkward to Optimus.

 

Ironhide was listening. He was worried that it might get too costly. He didn’t exactly provide such a super income as some other Autobots did. But he decided to interject.

 

“Umm. Ladies. We have to keep in mind that it can’t get too expensive. Elita, you’re a widow, and Chromia, my income isn’t huge. And furthermore…�

 

The women just glared at him.

 

Just then Aerial came in. “Mom. Leave dad alone. He’s right. Besides, I don’t want a huge ceremony. Just my friends and family at my side. Optimus agreed to my request.�

 

Elita calmed down. She looked at Chromia. Her daughter was right. It couldn’t get too big. “All right. How about this. Just family and friends. The only other people we’ll invite are people who deserve to be there.�

 

Aerial looked at her future mother-in-law. “Fine.�

Optimus was hanging out with Jetfire and some of the other guys. They were all excited for him. They had wanted to throw a bachelor party, but Optimus didn’t want one. Just a small celebration to honor his marriage.

 

At the part, Optimus pulled Jetfire aside. “Jetfire. I want you to be my best bot at the wedding. Also, I’ve appointed Blurr and Sideswipe to security at the wedding. What do you say?�

 

Jetfire agreed to this. “Who’s going to be the ring bot?�

 

Optimus looked at his friends. He didn’t think Hot Shot would be a good choice, despite the fact that he was one of the younger ones. Then he remembered his younger cousin. Magnus Minor. The kid would be a great choice.

 

“I’ve got to go. I just came up with a choice for the ring bot.�

 

Optimus left and the party ended.

“Your cousin. I don’t know Optimus.� Aerial said.

 

“Oh come on. He’s the perfect choice. I think it should be family, and he’s young enough so that it’ll feel appropriate for the ceremony.�

 

“Okay.�

Meanwhile in D’con territory, Tidal Wave was going nuts. “Where Megatron. Where.�

 

Cyclonus tried his best to keep the big guy calm. “I keep telling ya’ Tidal Wave, Megatron’s gone. And so is his father. They’re both gone. All that’s left is you, Demolishor, and me. Wheeljack left us to be with his stupid Autobot pals once he learned the truth about what happened. Thrust and Sideways betrayed Galvatron, so he got rid of them. And Starscream was destroyed. It’s just the three of us.�

 

Tidal Wave just swatted Cyclonus, “MEGATRON!�

 

Cyclonus looked up. There was somebody there. It was somebody who seemed familiar, but he knew he hadn’t seen them before.

 

“I’m Sixshot. My brother is Shockblast. My dad was Shockwave. I’ve decided to lead the Decepticons.�

 

Cyclonus, Demolishor, and Tidal Wave just looked and questioned his motives for his actions.

 

“I’ve got a great idea for our first strike. Optimus Prime’s wedding.�

 

His optic glowed.
