Then when they hear that they've been resurrected, they go up for some Energon upgrades, and then we'll truely have Mega Dinobot, except it's a true gestalt instead of just two Dinobots. :tfgrin

Suuuure,why don't we ALL jump on the dinobot gestalt bandwagon, huh? Actualy just kidding. I think that's a neat story detail. You'll just have to plan it carefuly 'cause that idea could backfire, particualary how Swoop and Grimlock get destroyed and how the rest of the dinobots grieve. you should try to make it like the events in Armada that led up to the death of Starscream (some may have thought that the whole thing was stupid but it caught me particularly off guard :tfsad ) I mean, it has to be convincing as well as emotionaly propeling. Okay I'm going to stop now because I'm starting to sound like Speilburg. :tftongue

"Optimus once we get there I need to talk to Starscream Ok?" "Sure Jetfire but why?" "Well please promise me you won`t tell anyone?" "Oookkaayy?.?." "Well he is my little brother. Well 1/2 brother." "He`s your WHAT!?! No way!" "Yeah that`s what my uncle Jetfire told me. Starscream`s dad was one of my mom`s regulars." "Oh. I see well then just be careful." "Don`t worry I will be careful." "Please don`t lose your cool Jetfire. You know like you did with his dad when you threw him to the mob for them to destroy- W-h-i-c-h they did oh boy maybe that isn`t such a good idea." "Actually that`s exactly why I need to talk to him." "Ok Jetfire just watch your back." "I will."

Back at the D`con base- "Well Wheeljack how do you like your new form?" "It is befitting my new persona as a D`con sir I like it. And by the way Wheeljack Jr is dead you can call me Jax." "Fine then Jax it is. You do understand that the Autobots are on their way here to retreive our minicons correct?" "Yeah I know but I don`t understand why you`re going to let those Autobots take our minicons." "Well it is because it isn`t worth ruling a grave yard my friend but don`t worry we`ll find our minicons again later we are going to track the ship and so long as it is with in this time period we`ll find it." "Megatron sir I`m not sure that will work as the Autobots have been working on a subspace matter transference system that`ll allow them to travel through both time and space. It is called a space bridge." "Well then that does change things doesn`t it. Wll I could still have a program planted on my minicon so that it can infect all of the other minicons so that if any of them are ever touched then it will trigger a signal to be sent to us so we`ll know where the minicons are." "Well that is an interesting idea and as I`m sure you know my father was a great Autobot scientist." "So you could make the program?" "Well of course but I`ll need time just about 20 minutes." "And so you shall have it once the Autobots arive we`ll act like we`re turning over all of the minicons then once they have all but mine we`ll atack and make them think that we are trying to stop them since that is probably exactly what they`ll expect from us." "Sounds like a good plan boss." "Get started because here they come."

"We are here for your minicons like we agreed upon Megatron." "Fine then Optimus here they are." "Where is yours Megatron?" "He is being repaired can`t send him of damaged now can I? I mean what kind of partner would I be if I did." "Ah. Very well just hurry up." "Starscream we need to talk." "Fine then Jetfire lets go talk." seconds later "Here is your minicon Megatron." "Ah there you are Jax. Don`t forget to turn over your minicon soldier." "Yes sir." It was then that Hotshot saw that Jax`s minicon was Wheeljack`s minicon. "Jax was it? Where did you get that minicon?" "I pryed it off of one of you worthless Autobots earlier today." "Why you! I`ll destroy you!" and with that short warning Hotshot pulled out his gun and began blasting at Jax with a rage that would ignite an inferno. FOOOOO!FOOOO!FOOOO! KABOOOOOOOOOM! "D`cons attack!" "Autobots hold your ground but protect the minicons. Jetfire where are you? We`re taking heavy fire the D`cons have us surrounded Grimlock and Swoop are down and without Grimlock the rest of the dinobots are going nuts." "Optimus I`m not finished with Starscream." "Well it`ll have to wait." "Yeah like forever Autobot I`m done listening to you. All I need to know is that you killed my father! Now die!" Starscream removed his sword from his shoulder and put it to Jetfire`s neck to which Jetfire replied by pacing his blaster to Starscream`s stomach and said "Now who do you think would win this one little bro.?" "I`m no brother of yours Autobot. Ah just go!" "Optimus I`m on my way!" "Jetfire gather the minicons and get them to the ship." "I`m on it Optimus just be careful." "Autobots pull back!" "Dinobots keep attacking we`re no Autobots!" screamed Slag. "Dinobots no I`m still in charge and I say take Grimlock and Swoop back to base NOW!" "Fine dinobots retreive Grimlock and pull back."

Back at the Autobot base- "Hotshot I took you along and I expected you to keep your head. Because of you Grimlock and Swoop are dead. It is only because of Jetfire tat we even finished retreiving the minicons." "I`m sorry sir." "You`re sorry!?! That doesn`t even begin to cover what you`ve done. I`m confining you to your quarters for the next 3 solar cycles mainly for your protection from the dinobots. Who because of the loss of their leader have decided to leave Cybertron and join Rodimus and his crew." "Thank you sir." "You are still going to be a member of my crew however it will be a long time before I even think about taking you into battle." "Sir." "Hotshot you are dismissed. Oh and Hotshot if I were you I would go out of my way to get to your quarters with out crossing the remaining dinobots paths."

"Wheeljack I`m sorry for the loss of your son. However I was wondering if the ship was ready to depart?" "Yes Optimus it is. In fact all that remains to be done is you pressing that button." "Fair well our minicon friends I hope that where ever you end up you don`t end up slaves once again."- and with a heavy heart Optimus launched the minicon ship into space. "Wheeljack open the space bridge." "It`s already been done." 3-2-1-BLAST OFF!-FOOOOOOOOOSH!

Chapter 19 (WOW 19 chapters and still a ways to go people...whew)

 

With the Mini-Cons gone, the next step was making a treaty, one that would enable them to fix Cybertron. The two parties would be represented by two from each side. For the Autobots, it would be Optimus and Jetfire. For the Decepticons, it would be Megatron and Starscream. Optimus Prime [sr.] would oversee the sigining of the Treaty of the Cybertronian Federation.

Inside the core, Primus "breathed" a sigh of relief. "Well Masterminicon, what shall you do now. The Mini-Cons are gone, save for yourself and Rollout."

 

"Well Primus. To be honest, I haven't really thought of that. I'm your personal Mini-Con, and I can size shift to either the size of a standard Mini-Con, or become your Mini-Con and grow to scale of a normal Mini-Con attached to one of the Autobots. Maybe I'll just go topside and aid in the reconstruction of...well you really. I'm just going to make a quick check on your special Autobot, who's still recovering."

 

As Masterminicon rolled away, Primus heard him muttering "Geez. After all this time, you'd think he'd be ready to come back into the picture. But noooo. Oh well, the battle with the other 12 must have taken a lot out of him."

On the other side of the galaxy, Rodimus was training with his dad.

 

"Good. Now, try and hit me, but this time, keep in mind what you did wrong the last time."

 

He was out of breath, but he didn't want to stop. "Gotcha.........Dad. Just......give me a moment to catch my breath. Whew"

 

Arcee came in with Cyber cocoa for her two men. "How's the training going?"

 

Rodimus looked at his wife. He knew what she was doing, giving lot's of attention to him and Roddie was the way she was handling the loss of her daughter.

 

"Fine. I've just been going over some of the moves that Magnus taught me."

 

Before they could finish, there was a crash from the storage room. The three of them went in there, and saw Prowl amidst a pile of supplies. He turned, and blushed.

 

"Ummmm....I was just, um, looking for my..um, uh...BLASTER. That's right. I was looking for my blaster." he looked over. "Here it is. I just wanted to go and practice shooti...I'll just go." He blushed and quickly exited the room.

 

The three others just laughed.

"Signal Flare, what's our current status with rondevouz with Cybertron?" Arcee asked. "I'm eager to go and see my brother."

 

"Well Arcee, we're still quite a ways away. Remember, we're working from our last bit of fuel supply. Bets are that we'll have to make a stop, mine some Energon, and get more fuel out of it."

 

Arcee just sighed. "Well, the next closes planet that we come to, we'll land and do just that. Other than that, just keep things steady. I'll be in my quarters."

Arcee went over to the desk. On top of it was a holo-picture of her and her family. She sighed. She was wondering if she'd ever see them again.
