Could Takara Release Masterpiece Rodimus As Their 4th & Final Transformers 2010?

Recommended Posts

Caveat: Take this with a substantial spoonful of salt before getting your hopes up here. S250 has posted on his Twitter page speculating that the re-release of Unicron with a different head mold by TakaraTomy might be the third figure in Takara's Welcome to Transformers 2010 campaign. Lets see what happens.

If they do a MP Rodimus, I hope they eventually get around to doing a MP Galvatron.

it does seem to add up.... i mean the flame motif, the tri-exhaust shown, the series 2010 having rodimus as the main character. i would cream myself should it be true. but be prepared for 22 repaints.... menasor..... red 'im a pepper' version.....

oh and takara....reissue that god awful unreleased unicron toy from the 80s, you know you want too!

And don't forget the ultra super turbo rare gold platted Primus version that I'm sure they'd make too.

There won't be a Menasor repaint, that was just a stupid idea for a North American convention exclusive.

This would make perfect sense, following the general 'Leaders' theme of MP...

I must admit, I thought 'Rodimus' the minute I saw that 2010 poster. If it isn't true it'll be the biggest mislead they could possibly pull off!

I'm visualising a MP Hot Rod mold, combinable with a camper trailer = Rodimus Prime.

I'm thinking Rodimus when I see those flames too....but what if.....it's actually MP Movie Prime?
