Well, I did say worst idea in TRANSFORMERS history. Obviously the 80s were full of glorious and awesome fail. =P

technicly they did transform :P

OMG! I totally forgot about Manimal. That was one of my favorite shows from the 80's as a kid. I remember crossing Knight Rider with Manimal.

What the Heck is that Automan? I've never seen that. It looks like a project that they made from what they figured out from TRON. :rofl

Turbo Teen! I barely remember that. Does this car transformation make my ass look fat? :lol

i love the mp line but see no point in a rodimus. but if it means an mp galvy in the future, i'm all for it. i ain't kiddin' nobody, if this mold looks as it should, it's an automatic buy.

Talking to Curt @ TFSource... he seems to think that the next new mold MP will indeed be Rodimus.

He also believes that Hasbro has spent so much time on the animates series, that they have made some bad business decisions and gone crazy with the repaints. But he does feel we will see MP Rodimus in 2010.

Just chimming in on part of this. Animated is still shelf warming near me. It may be a fan favored line, but from a sales/retailer point of view it was an utter flop.

The movie line may not be as well liked in the forums (if not hated) but, it does sell pretty well near me outside of TRUs which are choked with overpriced exclusive sets (go figure)

Weaving the movie line into the upcoming lines and staying true to the robot look and abandoning the "superhero" design to me is a good move.

If there were to be a MP Galvatron, then it would probally be the same size as the G1 figure. I just want a good Galvatron figure the size of a Voyager Class, I dunno why Classics was reduced to that size. I looked awesome, but fell apart at some joints.

I'm still hopeing for a Rodimus Minor(Hot Rod) figure. If it was Hot Rod and not Rodimus then that ALt mode of Hot Rod's would be so freaking sweet.

The G1 figure was cool, but the front end wasn't as wide as the back, and based on the 1986 movie that was a WIDE car.....a Rodimus MP would be epic...I would have to buy a special display case for that one...
