The Prime mold wrist communicators are foreseeing future Masterpieces?!?!

- Ghost starscream is just a filler/reason to use the mold again.... just as skywarp/thundercracker were.

- Bumblebee is on there at the very beginning but we all know why he will never get the MP treatment now... but hey back then it wasn't the case.

So using my "theory" looking MP-01Bs communicators. my pick(as many have mentioned) is Rodimus as a new mold.... and possibly a new prime release.... Ultramagnus with trailer?!? and perhaps his wrist communicators will have further future predictions?!?!

 

Haha long shot i know.... but possibly valid? What do you guys think?

It's a shame VW won't allow the rights for a bug Bumblebee, a MP wouldn't be right if they used any other car model.

 

I would think they would use a more current one. I always picture him as an R32 or at least a GTI VR6 :shrug

I agree. Besides, I would hate to see him as a New Beetle. Let them choose from any of all the other Hatchbacks there are, and a VW Golf GTI would be a good option.

If they are going to do it - it will be the OLD VW. I firmly believe they are keeping things G1. If not, why wouldn't have have made Starscream an F-22 istead of an F-15??? I will be surprised if we ever see a Bumblebee tho.

 

 

as far as the next 'new mold' figure -- I do strongly believe it will be rodimus Prime. In fact, i believe it's almost a forgone conclusion - it's just a matter of time for the announcement.

 

 

As far as repaint potential -- it won't surprise me in the LEAST.. if we see just a Rodimus Prime figure. Then, like the MP-01 and MP-04 - we'll see another Rodimus with trailer released. AS a 2nd repaint, I fully expect to see the very same with Ultra Mag as well. I probably won't mind that repaint as much, as I just hope they do his trailer as a car carrier, and it will be nice to then have him both molds. Jezus, i'm going to have enough trailers to create a 'truck stop.' So that's 2 repaints for next year... I'm sure they will have at least 1 more in store for us in 2011.

Maybe if we can get a better view at that Hot Rod/Rodimus on Optimus comunicator, we can see if it's Hot Rod or Rodimus. Or if someone has better eyes than me and can make out who he is.

I was thinking it would be a horrible dishonor to the MP line if they made BB MP and used the camaro for the Alt mode. Cause they already had a giant sized version of him with all the detail. It would be a waste of a MP line space.

 

Any of the VW hatch backs would be good.

The thing with Bumblebee is, who needs a giant Bumblebee? An Alternator Bumblebee would have been roughly in scale with the MP figures. He's supposed to be small. I don't think I'd really want him on my shelf standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Starscream and Grimlock.

 

Also, are we sure Bumblebee is really *that* popular? He's a core character, for sure, and Hasbro's been pushing him like mad these past few years, but I can't imagine he's too many peoples' favorite character--certainly not to the same degree as Optimus, Megatron, Starscream or Grimlock. He seems like the kind of character everyone likes, but nobody loves.

 

That said, if they made a VW Beetle Alternator or Alternity Bumblebee, I would be the first in line to buy it.

They could always do some kind of double MP, to keep him to scale with the other MPs, kind of Bumblebee and Jazz in one MP pack.

 

The problem is that neither VW nor Porche are willing to lend their licence to "war toys". Which is understandable in a way, but not really for us fans.

I know that is so lame...War Toys....they aren't trying to use there name to attach it to a truck carrying some ICBMs....or Nuclear Warhead rockets
