  1. Probably small news with Botcon 2014 going on, but here it is. If you find the TF: Age of Extinction add in your Xbox (360 in my case) dashboard, firs you get a movie trailer, but after you watch it you are able to download a movie Grimlock prop for your avatar. It consists of a T-Rex with a movie skin, it's larger than the avatar, it walks around and spits fire once while your avatar tries to stay out of the way. It's a shame the avatar doesn't ride him, since mine still has the Optimus Prime outfit from Fall of Cybertron. You can also watch two other trailers, some still images from the movie and there's a sweepstakes you can enter but it requires you to play Titanfall.

  3. I went to Target today, 4/28/14, and went by the toy section not really expecting to see anything new on the Transformers section, with the TF4 toys coming out soon and all, hopping to at least find wave 4 of the Kre-O individual packs (no luck). They did have a couple of Generation Whirls though. What I did find was that all the TF Prime Beast Hunter toys were on clearance. Legion (they actually had all 4 individual limbs for Abominus), Deluxe and Dragon Assault Optimus where 30% off, while Voyager Darksteel & the Abominus pack where 50% off. Also a few of the Construct-bots had the 30% off, but it didn't seem like all of them did. I'm sure Target is just making room for the movie toys, which is ok, to bad they didn't have a better selection of Beast Hunter toys though. If they drop them to 70%, I might even stock on birthday presents for my nephews. So if you where still thinking of that Abominus, or maybe making a Legion army, or just needed a good price to go for those Predacon Rising repaints, here's your chance! Happy hunting!
  4. Hi, If anyone is interested in selling it, I'm looking to buy the PIN, and only the PIN from the 2013 Botcon box set, no box, not toys, no comic, no certificate, just the pin that says San Diego, CA. Thank you, J.
  5. I never meant that it was Michael Bay's fault that prices went up... just that his version of TF pushes me (and many others) away from the franchise. I should have said that not only we have to deal with the price increase, which is enough to push us away, but then an overpriced line of his horrible version of them?
  6. Well, I just came back from Target, and Deluxes, although not much, went up from 14.99 to 15.49. And that was just on the regular Prime figures, they didn't have any Generations. If that's just Target raising price to then put discounts, I can live with it and just wait until after Christmas. But if it's Hasbro rasing prices, well, that's goodbye for me buying for my collection, for my son and for my nephews' (and I have plenty) birthdays and Christmas. So, with me, they loose about 3 customers, plus no more recomending the toys to other people (which I do a lot). And if we add it up to Michael Bay on TF4 (I refuse to give one more cent to him, don't car if it's TF). It sure looks like they are trying to push away fans and collectors.
  7. Here is a better coloring of the same photo mongate using DOTM Vortex's for the body and FOC Shockwave's head.
  8. I was posting in another tread, and made this quick mock up to illustrate a point. I decided to share it here to give the idea to either the customizers who do such great work and share it here, or to Hasbro. Either way, this is Generations Springer's body (redeco of DOTM Tamahawk) with Fall of Cyberton Shockwave's head. I believe that in the right colors, it would be a great Whirl. Enjoy!
  9. I got today from TRU the new Generations Springer. And as I had it in robot mode in my hands I couldn't help but thing that that head just didn't sit right in that body, lake a crapy head transplant. Than it hit me, that body would be great to make Whirl, you could even just replace with FOC Shockwave's head and repaint the whole thing. (Hint for Hasbro and customizers in this site) So I took a couple of minutres (since I'm short on time) and did this montage.
  10. Finally, both Game Stop and Amazon have posted on their website what their Pre-Order bonuses will be for Transformers Fall of Cybertron. Game Stop will give a G1 skin pack, that includes Optimus, Megatron & Shockwave, to be used single player mode (Optimus also in multiplayer). As for Amazon, it's a code to access Bruticus, judging by the image it's also just a skin for single player. For now, Best Buy, Target or Walmart have yet to anounce if they'll have a bonus.
  11. When I checked the mailbox today, there was a small pack for me... I couldn't figure out what it was at first, since I didn't remember orderind anything. A few seconds after reading that it contained "Toy parts" and it was mailed from Canada did it hit me. The upgrade kit! After so many months, and tryin to check on the website only to find it under maintenance, it finally arrived. So I went to my room to get my spacer Generations BB, went and got the screwdriver that came with Kup's upgrade head and got started. After about two minutes (between transforming BB and changing the head)... It looks great! The color matches perfectly and I love to have a different charcater with the swap of a head. The guns are cool two, since it came with four, I put two per hand, just to not have them around waiting to get lost.
  12. I would say half launch. I was reading in a XBox 360 forums people complaining about how when they went to get their copy they where told it was delayed in the 16th, while others that they had gotten the message from Game Stop for midnight pickup, although no one said they had it yet. So I called KMart, since it's in the next town and I want the comic, but they didn't get it, then SEARS and same thing After that I called both Targets in town and they didn't have it either. Finally I called Game Stop, and they said not yet but they where expecting it ar 2pm, so I called again and they did have it. Didn't get a chance to call WalMart or ToysRUs. But I still have to decide weather to go to GS or wait for KM to get it.
  13. *****SPOILER ALERT***** I can say what I read on the graphic novel. Scroll over white text to read. **Well, if the graphic novel is really that much based on the movie (I say that, since now they say the Ferrari is not Mirage and the science bot is not Wheeljack, wich in the novel they are, and in what I've red the novel adaptation they are named as such, still at the beggining)... Anyways, in the graphic novel Soundwave is a mercedes, "owned" by Carly's boss, who know's who he is and works with him.**
  14. I spent a few hours this weekend hunting for TF DOTM exlcusives, went through KMart, Walmart, Target and Toys R Us. KMart had it's Human Alliance (Bumblebee, Sam, the new triplechanger and a Autobot Alliance patch), but I really don't want that BB in my collection. Some WalMarts have their Legends pack, Bumblebee, Soundwave + Rodimus. I did get this one, since I wanted the Legends Rodimus repaint, BB is also a repaint of a previous legends, as for Soundwave it's the first time I see this satellite version of him, doesn't mean he was not out before. They also had the Optimus Prime + Comettor pack. Which are repaints, but the detail of the stars and earth reflected on Optimus windshield is a really nice touch. Neither of the two targets in this city had the Human Alliance Wrecker. Toys R Us has the first of their Mission Earth exclusives. They have the Cyberverse four pack of two Bumblebees and two Starcreams. It's suposed to be a cybertronian mode of each (which really is a classics BB repaint and a... Energon, Cyberton? Not sure, repaint of SC. ANd then repaints of BayFormers versions of them, with the front normal collor, the back see through and the transition in between. Plus each of them comes with a gun.
