  1. Activision and High Moon Studios has released a behind the scenes look of the Transformers Fall of Cybertron booth at BotCon 2012. The video includes interviews with Game Director Matt "Tieg" Tieger, marketers from Hasbro, and some fans that attended the convention. Check it out after the break. Read the Full News Story Here
  2. Yeah. There are multiple shows that I would watch that debuted, or got moved to the Friday death slots, but somehow managed to survive for a bit (Dollhouse and Fringe, specifically). I think the only network that does all right is CBS, but that's also known as the Curmudgeon Broadcasting System.
  3. The official website of the Transformers Universe Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) has been updated with a new splash page and for gamers to join the Autobot or Decepticon army and subscribe to updates. Visitors are invited to create an account as either an Autobot or Decepticon to possibly be invited to the beta testing, which is currently ongoing. Take a look at TransformersUniverse.com. 4. Hmm - that doesn't reference cable. I know that most of the time they use Fridays and Saturdays as death slots, or burn off slots. Remember when Fridays had TGIF? Or Saturdays had hits like Walker Texas Rangers?
  5. Sweet! One way to keep your show popular: change the times around so they won't know when the show is on!
  6. Peaugh has snagged a copy of FansProject's latest original entry into the third party realm, Warbot WB-002 Steelcore. The figure has some ideas visible from other multiple Transformers entries, such as the Targetmaster, but the figure is not an homage to any character in particular. Is it any good? Peaugh says it is indeed, and has a bonus third mode, too. Watch the review in the full article. Read the Full News Story Here

  8. Revoltech has ponied up some great official looks at the upcoming Sci-Fi Revoltech No 040 Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime DX with Jetwing parts and battle axe. The extremely poseable series shows off Prime with the attachments that allow him to fly and cause havok, just like he did to Shockwave's driller in the film. In addition to the aforementioned extras, Prime will also come with a stand, alternate head and hands, and the movie sword. The figure is set for an October 1, 2012 release for 4800 Yen (~$61 USD). Check out the images in the gallery. Read the Full News Story Here
  9. Thanks for the info! Collector-friendly for sure!
  10. He's a Lambo. Those things barely have ground clearance to begin with.
  11. The Transformers Prime Arms Micron AM-16 Jet Vehicon could be a Takara Tomy exclusive mold and will not see a United States, release, similar to AM-12 Breakdown. PoweredConvoy of the AllSpark offers an image of the copyright information of the Jet Vehicon figure that only references Tomy (Takara Tomy is noted only as Tomy outside of Japan). Most figures that will be available by Hasbro somewhere down the line will typically reference the company in this area as well. Continue reading... Read the Full News Story Here
  12. Demo available now! Check first post for information. For those interested, I will be playing on and off for the rest of the week during the day and evenings. Hit me up on my Xbox live tag "BWBM"
  13. Takara Tomy Transformers designer Shogo Hasui has updated his Twitter page once again to offer up a new image of Masterpiece MP-12 Lambor (Sideswipe), this time striking a demanding pose. The figure is doing a high sidekick, balancing the entire figure's weight on one leg, with the arms in quite good form, showing that the figure is not only very poseable, but the weight of the figure is nicely distributed as well. The figure is only a couple of months out from its October 2012 release and will run for 5800 Yen (~$73 USD) with Amazon Japan offering exclusive pile drivers with a purchase of the figure. The figure will be reused again for MP-14 Red Alert. Read the Full News Story Here
  14. ACToys member mraball has luckily managed to snag Voyager Powerdive, another Transformers Generations "China Import" figure that was recently released in Hong Kong and other Hasbro Asia markets. The figure is a redeco of Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Highbrow with a brand-new head mold that has visor that can be raised and lowered. Enjoy the images in the gallery. If you find this figure desirable, do not worry about importing these figures; Hasbro announced at San Diego Comic Con 2012 that they will be available exclusively at Toys R Us stores beginning in October under the "China Import" line. 15. The new issue of Hyper Hobby magazine is showcasing Takara Tomy's upcoming Masterpiece MP-13 Soundwave, offering up new looks of the Laserbeak cassette as well as a cassette holder that can fit the cassettes when not stored in Soundwave's chest. The figure, about the size of MP-10 Convoy Ver 2.0, the first figure to debut in the new Masterpiece scale, is set for a December 2012 release for 15800 Yen (~$199 USD). Continue reading... 17. High Moon Studios has released a demo, available today, of Transformers Fall of Cybertron, featuring two single-player missions, competitive multiplayer, and the extensive character customization. The developers are getting cozy with the public testers and are encouraging all players of the demo to direct any and all comments to the team's Twitter account, @FallofCybertron. Gamers who received early access have already greatly contributed to this effort, with High Moon reporting that tweaks to the balance and weapons have been made, as well as actively working to ban cheaters (they exist already - seriously?).Continue reading... 18. Fun Publications has flipped the switch on the Transformers Collectors Club Online Store, almost two months after the store was closed for server migration and bandwidth issues related to heavy traffic. The store is now back online for a final test of the new server by allowing customers to ping the store for some products. This follows a string of store-related issues for Fun Publications as the company was forced to turn to an outside company to power the online store after the home-brewed store was the subject of a massive security breach using SQL injection hacks earlier this year.
