movies worse than ROTF

Recommended Posts

There are several billion direct-to-video and small budget films that are infinitely worse than ROTF, and make it look like On Golden Pond, or something. The Sci-Fi Channel has the rights to each and every one of them, I truly believe (they show them all!!!). But as far as a mega-budget, epic Hollywood summer blockbuster? I can't think off the top of my head of very many movies as bad as or worse than ROTF outside of:

3000 Miles To Graceland, Batman and Robin, Batman Forever, Exorcist II: The Heretic and Alien Resurrection.

The list is longer, but I don't want to invoke the name of stuff like Book of Shadows: Blair Witch II or Freddy Got Fingered to bolster it.

Oh man, Resurrection? For me, the Alien franchise begins and ends with the 1st and second films--in that order (I want to have the first films babies). Probably as much to do with Winona Ryder hatred as much as anything else (can't and won't watch anything with her in it).

Tomcats is aeons worse than almost any film I've ever seen has the right to be, and that includes ROTF.

ROTF and batman and robin are so compatible they could have babies. seriously, anaconda had better character development. and well, troll 2 at least had a cohesive story line. and HELL, MEGA SHARK vs. GIANT OCTOPUS at least featured what it says in the title! I think Bay should be put in charge of the "transmorphers" series, and let a literate adult take the reigns of our robots in disguise. honestly, I won't miss the explosions.

Now what's ROTF's excuse ??? I NEVER needed to see that arse's butt filling my TV screen. Must scrub brain...

You'd better not watch Borat then. ;)

Is nice! :D

I'm willing to bet half the movies that the haters do like are worse than ROTF.

I don't know.. I can't speak for everyone here, but I honestly gave this movie a real chance. I wanted so badly for it to be at least somewhat close to the hype(robot interaction, deep story, etc.) but I was so so so disappointed. beyond just being a terrible Transformers movie, it was an awful movie by any standards, IMO.

I guess some people enjoy stories too. :P

2 movies that come to mind are Benji and Chicken Little. I actually like ROTF.
