Nope, sorry, Gobots: Battle of the Rock Lords was not worse that ROTF.

Got to agree with the folks who brought up Manos: The Hands of Fate and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, but here's a few other classic stinkers:

Solarbabies

John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness

Syngenor

Before and After (starring Edward Furlong)

Mazes and Monsters

Highlander The Final Dimension

Weekend at Bernie's 2

Still, a movies gotta be PAINFULLY bad to actually be WORSE than ROTF.

#1 I disagree with you on Prince of Darkness being worse than ROTF.

#2 the rest of those movies have an excuese, they are low budget, had no major talent, and not a lot of work put into them. Show me a movie that had that much time, effort, (supposed) talent, and money put into it and still suck as badly as ROTF.

waterworld was pretty bad I went to see it at the drive in with my mom and grandmother and I kept falling a sleep when I was watching it and I also fell asleep watching wall.e

the worst film ever made was in my opinion battlefield earth you know despite the lame ass humor ROTF wasn't that bad but i have been judging it too harshly

I have to say Battlefield Earth and Waterworld didn't annoy me as much as ROTF did. It was actually painful as you had to BRACE yourself on the second watching for all the crappy humor, as you sat there HOPING and PRAYING it wasn't as bad as you remember... then IT WAS!

In defense of Battlefield Earth...

If you've read the book all of the craziness makes sense. But they left out so much of a very complex story that I'm not surprised of everyones reaction. It should've been a TV mini series, at the least.

You want a GREAT scifi/action story READ THE BOOK. Then read the Mission Earth Decology, all 12 books. Talk about a detailed story !!!

Now what's ROTF's excuse ??? I NEVER needed to see that arse's butt filling my TV screen. Must scrub brain...

:con :con :con

Theres alot worse movies out there,.like most that are aimed towards kids,.most I don't even want to think about...

But yeah Manos the hands of fate was pretty bad,.even though that Targo guy was interesting,.MK annihilation deffently wasn't the best.

most sucky movies end up being joke fodder,.and with out them what would we make fun of.

like CDI legend of zelda,.and such.

Before Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson made a horrible movie called "Meet The Feebles."

It's like The Muppets but oh so WRONG! :/

So naturally when I first heard that Peter Jackson was going to direct LOTR I freaked out! Thankfully they turned out to be rather good films. :)
