movies worse than ROTF

Recommended Posts

Too many to list. Let's start with these:

The Island

Bad Boys

Bad Boys II

Pearl Harbor

Armageddon

:awsum

SERIOUSLY?

I admit, there were some odd and nonsensical things in The Island at certain points, but overall it was a very well thought out movie that was more than just an action/suspense flick, containing actual morals.

You have no right to say RotF is better.

Oh boy... I have seen some terrible movies... I've seen movies that make ROTF look like Shakespeare in comparison.

Of course I can't remember any of them off the top of my head, that's the way things always go for me, but there is one thing that ROTF has against it that no other highly-suspect film I've seen does:

It was personal.

Karate Kid 4

So was Jaws: The Revenge. Which was worse than ROTF by a country mile.

Let's not forget:

Sweet Home Alabama, 3000 Miles To Graceland; House of the (f'in) Dead, I Know Who Killed Me orrrrrrr...The Seed People.

Batman & Robin

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation

Leonard Part 6

I was JUST gonna say that!

Sure he does. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings. Though I agree that all those movies are actually BETTER then ROTF.

Twillight?

ROTF might not have been more than a popcorn flick but at least it was edited properly. :P

Hmm ok lets see:

Date Movie

Epic Movie

Meet the Spartans

Disaster Movie

Granted I never watched any of those movies but I have a pretty good idea what level of craptastic they are :tfgrin

I liked both those movies a lot. While I can see why people dislike RotF, I don't understand all the hate out there for the Island.

Batman & Robin

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation

Good posting.

More recently, two movies I was ready to walk out of were "Seven Pounds" and "District 9." Talk about snoozers.

Seven Pounds was ridiculous...complete, over-emotive tripe. Personally, I never dug on The Island because (among other reasons) it is a straight rip-off of Parts: The Clonus Horror...which is in itself a sorry excuse of filmmaking. In both movies, the concept is decent. The execution is poor.

Twilight

it was nothing more than 2 idiotic wristcutters staring at eachother, and saying: "I don't care that you're a vampire, I love you and stuff."

and rinse, wash, and repeat for an hour and a half.
