Another character that cracked me up was Inferno, with his "For the Royalty!!!" and addressing Megatron with "Yes, my Queen!"

Inferno was my favorite (obviously). Cracked me up every time he was on screen.

 

His best lines were in "Coming of the Fuzors" part 1:

 

"Waa-hahahaha! Fool! Pain is my friend! Allow me to introduce you to it!"

"Insolent worms. Burrrnnn in the fires of Inferno!"

 

and from "Other Visits" part 1:

 

"I don't Rock and Roll, I burn!"

another from coming of the fuzors "ooh a hero, my favorate"

"waspinator has headache in whoooooooole body"

rampage and deph charge had the best grudge and really did demonstrate the hatred of eachother in everyway they could

Fantasy epics..Tolkien...Dear god, you ever READ Tolkien? I'd rather have my face ripped off by cenobites. If not for the fantastic movies(with their overlooked flaws), No one would give a rat's ass about Tolkien.

Final Fantasy 8? That's my favorite of the series, surpassed only by FFX because of it's amazing graphics and *EPIC* progression.

The humor on Beast Wars was very good. Maybe a bit too much at times. The bad guys were hillarious and never really seemed to be much of a threat because of that.

I love kids who can't read.

 

I defined the Japanese as a CULTURE. And YES, cultures tend to excel in trades that some others may not. This is why we have such ideas as import and export. My point was that the Japanese are superior with said trades, that is why Japanese cartoons and video games are greatly more introspective and powerful than Westernized stuff tends to be.

 

Not to mention I'm a white guy...How the Hell can you call me a racist for praising a race that is UNLIKE MY OWN?

 

For the topic itself, There are a few elements I enjoyed about Beast Wars, but taking Transformers back to that would turn me away from the franchise, and it would do many others that way. They've managed to gain back the respect of alot of pre-BW fans, and they shouldn't drive them away again...

If BW had been cel-animated (hm, I guess at that time I'd say it would've been western-styled rather than anime), would you guys still love it?

As others said, the CGI at the time was pretty good, and personally, I would really like to see BW cel animated. There were many things cut (notably, a bunch of stuff in Nemesis) because they did not have the budget to render some things.

 

Good writing is good writing, regardless how it is portrayed visually.
