I wish we had seen more of the Fallen as well. I'd like to know what his true name was actually before he was only known as the Fallen.

However, I think seeing Megs rip off Starscreams arm and beat him with it made up for it, and Starscreams voice was absolutely PERFECT! I don't think that has gotten enough props.

Having all of the ancient Primes look almost exactly like the Fallen wasn't that great either. The Fallen is very evil looking and his more benevolent brothers should have looked like it.

Too many cloned generic bots. When they said we were going to see so many more bots, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind and I think it made a BIG difference how other people might have viewed the movie overall. Those of us who have kept up with this franchise all of these years are no strangers to fodder-bots but to the uninformed masses it can be a bit confusing and overwhelming.

There are a few other minor flaws, but I don't really nit pick at them cuz I understand it's almost impossible to fit every little thing they might have wanted to include without making a 4 hour long movie.

A lot of fans wanted more action after the first, and they got it, so there's a lot of folks out there who shouldn't complain too much this time, cuz that's exactly what we got.

Anyway...I loved it! Bring on the next movie!!!

Soundwave at first I didn't like his voice but it grew on me, it fits him. Wish we got more of him.

I honestly didn't care for it. Sounded exactly like Megatron to me. Just found out doing an IMDB search -- IT WAS!!!

In the regular movies -- same person who does Megatron is also Soundwave. However in the IMAX version, they have someone else doing Megatron.

I'm not a big fan of 1 person doing multiple voices in movies - ESPECIALLY both being main character movies. And while Soundwave migiht not have had a primal part, he is a primal character. Voice didn't grow on me at all. It's a minor thing, and I overlook it -- but definately not the choice I would have made.

Peter Cullin is one of the few people who I have ever heard doing multiple characters in a movie or show and actually do it well. Other than that I think they should pay the extra $0.25 to get a different actor.

Megatron didnt rip off Starscream's Arm Prime sliced it off in the Forest Battle.

I thought Hugo Weaving did the voice of Megatron and Frank Welker was the voice of SW, did they really change the voices around for the IMAX?

But both were beating SS with his own arm and I was cracking up. :bounce

Yep! I had to look it up myself, because from the movie - both times - i kept thinking, man Soundwave sounds exactly like Megatron. Here are the links to check it out yourself.

Frank Welker was Megatron, Soundwave AND Devestator in the regular release. HOWEVER, he was only Soundwave and Devestator in the IMAX version.

Hugo Weaving was the voice of Megatron in the IMAX.

I can look past it -- but this gets back to CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT... I think they should have had a different voice for both Soundwave and Devestator. Espeially Soundwave. One of the most intrinsique things you remember about soundwave in G1 was.. HIS VOICE. I think they took that away.

I agree about the language. I had planned to go see it before I took my kids, but figured it would be like the first. Boy was I wrong. There was no need for all of the vulgarity. The action was nice, but some of the one liners, and dialogue was corny. I know it's an action film, and didn't expect much great acting. Was anyone else disappointed how quickly the fallen was defeated?

it was easier to kill the fallen - who is suppose to be mightier than megatron... than it was to kill the Terminator. Which one created more fear and hopelessness?? I mean seriously, how many explosions could megan fox jump thru without getting even a scratch on her? Watching Terminator, I would have given up or eaten a bullet myself. The fallen - a pure whimp. Devestator - given a face lift by ONE twin, and taken out with one shot. Was anyone in real terror of anyone?? I mean seriously, scorpnok created more fear and 'damn, we can't kill him' in the 1st movie than anyone in this one. Like I've said, this movie failed miserably in the ability to develope its characters and illicit real emotion. Most of the emotion was based on PRE-CONCEIVED feelings of characters that you know about from history -- not the movie itself. Take out the fight scene in the forest, and how do you feel about this movie??

The fallen was in this movie? I must have missed that part..

Wow...did not know that and now that I think about it Megatron did sound different from the first movie I just thought it was because his character was toned down a bit. I did wish they added the vocoder for SW like they did in the video game but I was trying to stay positive that at least he featured in the movie this time, no matter how short his scenes were. :emo

Character development was seriously lacking, some bots had it others had none. Bay should have focused on this instead of all those explosions. :redface
