All Transformers, all the time -- from Generation 1 to "Animated", Michael Bay's Transformers franchise, and beyond.

Watched for the first time in a while the other day and although I remember being mightily upset as a youngster when OP and the other autos died, I think to have left that out of the film would have made it much less powerful and memorable. What do others think, classic deaths good or bad?? Any other points about the film that makes it great or bad for anyone??

If this starts a flame war or people wanna cuss me out. Fine. I gotta get it off my chest. Why is the fandom a broken record? Every image, rumor, snippet of info is judged before reading. I'm talking about the recent Transtech study boards and the countless test shots for upcoming toys. I can understand comments like: I prefer articulation and it looks like Alt Prime has no knees. He's kinda bricky. Then we get: Why?! Why isn't he Ironhide!! It's right there in the news story. And if it isn't someone probably explained it earlier in the thread. Don't skim. Of course test shot sellers and even Hasbro themselves make the problem bigger by not showing off…

From what we have seen of the toy I don’t think there would be too many people to argue the fact that tracks will be a Z06 corvette. But I think I want to take it a step further and say its going to be a Commemorative Edition Z06. Its already got some decals on the hood, which might be the closest we will come to flames on tracks’s hood.

its amazing to think that these toys have lived through so many generations, 20 F*CKING YEARS...to be exact compare the toy quality, G1 Prime to 20th anniversary Prime G1 Jazz to Alternator Meister just imagine, if it lasts for another 20 years, imagine the toys then but im getting off track... Do you think that TransFormers will end? its probly inevitable, i can just imagine all us TFans getting old, and when we tell our grandchildren about them, they'll probly look back and think 'thats stupid, cars that turn into robots?' they'll think the same thing about TF's that we thought about the toys our parents had, you get me? by that time, i…

So who all has some kind of ritual that goes with Transformers? Be it weird, or just a bit nutty. I try to watch both movies at least once a month. Watch anything TF's when I'm opening new figs. Watch TF's before going on hunts.

Personally, I never liked the original comics. Robots splitting into two robots like a microscopic organism never appealed to me. Neither did the "God" Primus appeal to me. I found it much more rational that the TF's were made by the Quintessons. I thought perhaps "Primus" was a god the TF's created themselves, millions of years after the Quintessons left. The TF's had forgotten their past with their evil Quintesson masters and needed an explanation of their origins. I know I'm going to get some angry responses to this post, please calmly and peacefully post your opinions, I'm willing to read them all... P.S. In Dreamwave "The War Within", has anyone named that…

say what you will about the ramifications of human piloted tf's, at least the God Masters were much more useful than all the other human tf characters combined!
