Upgrades

The custom is not completed by now. I still have to remove the rear hook and complete the bumper, swapp the grey parts with the black parts of a spare bumblebee (still have to find it. Anybody ?) and paint the inside of the front lights and the grills silver. I'm particulary happy with the spoiler placed on the chest to make him even more different from bumblebee in bot mode too. I originaly wanted to remove all the silver paint but as I couldn't do it on the roof without removing the red too, I left it on the side to macht the real life car deco. Does anybody have any screenshots or photos of Megatron's fusion cannon from the movie? I've snagged a few spare parts to try and make a pretty good one, but I'm trying to get a good visual aid. I've tried IMDB, Google, etc and haven't found any pics. Can anybody help?

These arrived on my birthday and they fit awesome! I need to make a few minor tweaks to the knee connectors (shave off one of the pegs) and the hands. The hands had the column for the axle filled in with either support or WST material and I ended up "drilling" them out using the sharpened end of a straight paper clip. it was terrifying. I then cut pieces of paper clip to length and used as axles for the finger joints. It worked, but I can't expect anybody that goes for this kit to do the same so I'm going to have to work out another solution. I might try a half ball/recess friction connection but I worry that it will keep popping out. Other than that, this…

My fellow transfans, hi you all: yes this is me again to show you may latest in progress sculpt, Orion Pax head. Even that I could not get the toy launched by e-hobby i really think that kup mold is a very good resemblance of Orion but i disliked the KUP head repainted so have tried to make a decent head for this toy. This version lookks little rough because is an in-progress version but in two or three days I will be posting pictures for a finished head, so Please give me your comments. I'm still without a working camera, but I was able to use a friend's to take a few WIP pics of this bad boy. He's made from mostly styrene and epoxy putty with metal pins. His wires are something called "jelly cord" for bracelet making, and his straps are "craft lacing" for macramé. I haven't worked out the hands and feet yet, but the broad strokes are all there. He's scaled to fit MicroMan, but also fits those little small-sized Marvel Legends figures. I forgot to bring my own victim along to my friend's house, but luckily he had one of his own. Oi peeps! i've almost finished my kitbash of E tow-line to Omnicron (Prime?) but i need a decent colour scheme to paint on him here are the pics: robot mode polar tank mode flight mode(this is kind of a crappy pic) i dont know what to call this mode... i think mini-car mode would do base mode. this mode is used when he is either in flight or mini-car mode or when he is in stealth robot mode. stealth robot mode is practically E tow-lines bot mode with monkey arms wich are waaaay out of proportion. ( normal bot mode has longer legs) please think of a colour scheme that i can use. the winning idea will get credit when the bash is done.

Considering, my abilities with kitbashing and paintjobs are... well, let's just say limited; I'm seriously thinking of grabbing an extra Alt Dead End and a Binaltech Yellow Tracks, making some minor color alterations to Dead End's head and swapping it out with Tracks' head to make an easy, instant Sunstreaker. Granted, I'd much rather have a screamingly yellow Viper coupe, but this is just something that was wriggling in my mind. Anyone able to digi-bash what the end result might look like?

After finishing my Alternators Prowl, I thought he needed a buddy, so I wanted to make Red alert. I think a lot of people made G1 Red alert, so I'm taking a crack at one of my favorite Armada toys...Red alert. I have already removed the blue from Wheeljack...and that looks pretty cool on its own, but I disassembled most of him, and some of his parts are in the painting process. I just thought I'd post my preliminary and dirty photoshop to give you guys an idea of what he will look like.Â

I've been itching to expand my Classics line, but being a Kitbashing virgin, it's made me a little aprehensive. Now, there're still going to be those Classics customs that I won't do, that I'll commission, due to complexity that I don't have talent for, but there will be those that will be so easy, there'd be no reason for me to not attempt it.
