  1. All I want to know is...why? What's the point? Just to spend the whole $120? Sure, it was only $25 for the Robot Heroes, but why five of each figure? I'm not begrudging anyone's right to spend their own money however they g*dd*mn please, but I'd like to know the desire to buy more than one of the same thing. I already have him, so it's not jealousy. I just would rather spend the $120 on more than just the same toy over and over again. Okay, dude, seriously. What the h*ll do you do for a living, and how do I apply for the job? How the h*ll can you afford all this!? Do you not
  2. I have all the Astonishing issues loose, and all four collected volumes, but what you're looking at, is actually a special foil cover (you nailed the issue!), that came to me unfolded, and unstapled. I had no better place to keep it flat, being so long, so it's been on the top of my dresser, underneath a stack of comics, ever since! Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!
  3. :thumb :tflaugh Got Ironhide today: And, finished with the Robot Heroes (of the ones that I've found in the stores...so far, doesn't sound like anyone's found Jazz/Thundercracker, Matrix Prime/Unicron or the Cliffjumper/Skywarp WM 5-pack):
  4. Leader Prime is mine!! God, he's big... I'm loving that Prime torso shirt, but the G1 design just doesn't go with the movie helmet. So, when I bought my Cullen helmet, I also picked up a full-size, three-dimensional, wearable Prime torso*: *That statement may or may not be full of sh--.
  5. My buddy wanted Scorponok, but already had Blackout, so I got the TRU pack to help him out: Also grabbed the Mirage & Starscream Robot Heroes. Oh, yeah, and got the Transformers $5 Toys'R'Us gift card for spending over $25!!
  6. Broke down and bought the Wal-Mart "First Encounter" 2-pack, even though it contains the "defective" Bumblebee... Got 'Bee into car mode and back into 'bot mode once, fine. I'm not transforming him again, though...
  7. I love when people who owe me money actually pay it... Grabbed Robo-Vision Prime on sale at Target: Every Target I walk into is a mess. They barely have any movie figs (this was even before the sale), and the shelves are destroyed. Yet, Meijer, TRU and Wal-Mart pretty much had everybody in nice, organized setups... Starscream at Meijer: and Bonecrusher at Wal-Mart:
  8. What do most of you do for a living, if you can afford to buy two of everything!? I'm being picky with the movie line purchases, and still have to decide what I'm spending money on, and what I'll try to get two weeks from now... Real Gear Booster x10 & Zoom Out 25x Robot Heroes Prime & Ravage and Magnus & Megatron (almost cried - not really - seeing everyone else, and not being able to afford them all right now...) and the reason I even walked into Wal-Mart (Target didn't have RV Prime, negating my reason for walking into there)...Jazz. God, is he amaz
  9. :lol I have not. It's still really far for me to drive...
  10. DeKalb is so far from me and gas is so expensive and I have no clue what "Super Wally's" is... :(
  11. My best friend works at Gamestop, and he got me this for free...
  12. Got my first Gundam! Gundam-W Endless Waltz Sandrock Custom.
  13. Found the Camera, Binoculars, Cell Phone and "Gameboy" Real Gears at Sears Essentials on the corner of 83 & St. Charles in Elmhurst. $7.99 a piece. They also had the Optimus mask (which sounded a-w-e-s-o-m-e...), but I couldn't afford it ($30).
  14. Grabbed all four Movie Real Gear 'bots they had...
  15. Nice Scourge, R.E.! I know people are sick of these pics, but having spent most of my tax return on it, I can't help but show it off... TFSource shipped it Friday. I got it today. And, how I lucked out with the unmodded, I'll never know... :D
